Took care of my heart.

Dr Ridley saw my husband the next day ( he was having chest pains) in his office. That was on a Wednesday. He had him immediately admitted to the hospital for further tests.Because of his do diligence, my husband had a triple bypass on that Friday, for a 98% blockage. Saving his life!! If you have heart or chest problems do NOT hesitate to see Dr Ridley! Thank you Dr Ridley and God Bless YOU!

Dr Ridley is a gift to the Peninsula. Not only is he a stellar cardiologist with superb training, he is kind, gentle and patient while rendering quality care. His staff, both administrative as well as clinical is phenomenal. Dr Ridley performs diagnostic tests in his office with follow up to discuss treatment options once available for his review. Highly recommend. Also in Sentara system with Sentara Heart Hospital support. There is no finer cardiac facility than Sentara Heart. Check the facts.

This is the most amazing Doctor I have EVER seen. He listens and explains things thoroughly and he absolutely cares. He has a wonderful bedside manner. I feel so blessed to have found him. I told him how much I want to have children and he said that having children was important and he would do everything he could to help me. No other doctor that I have seen has cared about my yearning to have a child. But Dr. Ridley truly cares about his patients. He is the only doctor I will trust with my heart. He is well respected by all of the other doctors on my healthcare team and he is brilliant! I have the utmost respect for him. I would recommend him to anyone!

I read a review where a patient's med caused their BP to drop and they were put on hold for 20 minutes and then forgotten. I recently had two stents placed and had a drastic drop in my BP two days later. I called Dr. Ridley's office and within 3 or 4 minutes Dr. Ridley was on the phone and made an immediate adjustment to my medications solving the problem. I find Dr. Ridley and his staff to be very attentive and caring.

Dr Ridley is truly a doctor who cares about his patients. My Husband went into the hospital with chest pains, and he made sure we understand the medical issues he was having and answerd all of our questions and concerns. I recommend him every time someone is looking for a cardiologist.

I think he's the best doctor in the world when it comes to the heart

The Dr. seems very good as does the young lady who preps you for the appointment but wish I could say that about the the front office staff. They really do not seem to like their jobs. When I asked a question I was cut off and told she was getting to that but did not "get to it"just seemed to really want us out quickly.

Called to inform the b/p med I was recently put on was making my b/p bottom out. The nurse forgot I was on hold. After 20 minutes of holding on, I hung up and called back.Then to be told to stop taking it all together, and told me to go to my pcp I was there for a specialist to began with. Smh. Will seek a new Cardiologist. Realized he's a front and only cares if you're not proactive in your care. He takes it as an insult, because he just can't give you anything, at least not to me. I do my research and homework, and he told me I don't trust his expertise. That is not good communication skills when a patient just simply has TOO many questions for him.

Dr. Ridley is truly a caring and compassionate Doctor. He has cared for our daughter and now is caring for me. He takes the time to explain and put our concerns to rest.

Very nasty when I tried to ask questions about my previous visit with him. There was things that I didn't understand and I needed some clarification on.

Dr. Ridley's is a wonderful and caring physician.

My mother is his patient. Several times she has reported bp readings very low i.e. 78/54. His response is thats low. She had a heart attack and he saved her life but now no answers and doesn't seem interested in finding one. I'm switching my mom to a new Dr. She's in her 80's and my world. She needs someone who will find the problem not say see you in 2 months.
