Dr Kansara performed my mother's ( D. Short) knee replacement surgery with great success. He is kind, caring and answered all of her questions with compassion. His bedside manor is impeccable! Due to severe arthritis, her entire leg turned outward causing limping, numerous falls and horrible pain. He was also able to straighten her leg during the surgery. This has resulted in confident, stable, pain-free walking. And she looks great in her clothing. We highly recommend Dr. Kansara and we have to friends.

From the moment Dr. Kansara walked into the exam room, I knew I was going to be fine. He put me at ease, listened to me patiently and was thoughtful in his responses to my questions and concerns. He did an amazing job on my rotator cuff surgery, and I am well on the road to a successful recovery.

I recently suffered a complete tear of my pectoral muscle in a ski accident and was fortunate enough to find Dr. Kansara who put me back together like new. My adventure began with an unfortunate fall at my home, resulting in a complicated fracture of my left leg. In a surgery the next day, Dr. Kansara of the California Orthopedic Institute put the bone puzzle masterly back together, and now, six weeks later, I can start to use my leg again. Dr. Kansara’s extraordinary skills, and the friendly team at the California Orthopedic Institute turned this terrible event into a good outcome. Thank you very much.

Dr. Kansara was truly fantastic. He provided a detailed explanation of why I needed shoulder surgery and answered every question I had. He was willing to take additional questions via email before my surgery. Always made sure I had time to ask everything I wanted to, and always made sure I understood and was comfortable with his responses. The surgery itself went about as well as possible, and six months later, I've recovered most of my range of motion and strength with very little pain. He's continued to be available to respond to questions throughout my recovery period. He's also been completely honest throughout the entire process -- never overpromising, and always very straightforward about what I could expect and what no one could really know. I can't possibly recommend him in higher terms.

This Doctor placed a oxford Biomet uniknee and 11 months later it failed because it should have never been used as it did not fit. Other knee has had pain and does not work properly and is waiting to get replaced. Did the 3 months of PT and continued it at home. Was unable to get it fixed at same clinic because he suddenly disappeared. No doctors locally would consider replacing it. Beware, smooth talker but goes way to fast and will rush through visit and surgery. That should have been a sign.
