HORRIBLE!!
I started seeing this doctor because I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a brain, tumor and a brain AVM. I left messages with her office from October until February just to try to make an appointment and nobody ever called back. I had to physically go into the office to make an appointment and deal with her staff who are extremely rude. She finally ordered testing and upon receiving the testing back, she told me everything appeared fine. This was very far from the truth as my blood work and cerebrospinal fluid came back very Concerning. This forced me to seek care from a Neurosurgeon at UCSF. Two other Neurosurgeon I spoke to said she must not have even looked at my Blood work. Her office never sends referrals or prescriptions to pharmacies. The girls in the front office are more concerned with being on there phone and FaceTime than actually doing work. During my last appointment with Doctor Hylton I told her the other surgeons were very concerned that she missed all of the values

Appointment Problems
The staff is rude and never helpful. They seldom answer the phone, if they return your call, it's a week later. Medication refills are scarry because most of the time they aren't done when needed. Dr Hylton is great. She's patient and takes time with you and has a great sense of humor. But she needs to get a staff that actually likes the patients and want to help and answer the phone. I've seen her get on them before for not doing something, but that doesn't seem to help. One last thing...the phone appointments are good if they remember you have one. I've missed 3 appointments because of this issue and currently need medication refill.

Long wait times I’m talking 1-2 hours even when you have an appointment scheduled! They don’t answer the phone when trying to schedule an appointment Sends you straight to leave a voice message! No follow up appointment is given after seeing her and prescribing a new medication!doesn’t she want to know how the patient is feeling after giving them a new medication? the appointments with her always feel rushed! Been seeing her for over a year and has never done any testing or sent me to get any tests done Im feeling worse than before!

Fantastic Doctor
I have been seeing Dr. Hylton for several years now. I had cluster migraines that another doctor was not seeming to get the medication correct and Dr. Hylton put me back on the medication I used to use which prevents them. I went from 18-20 cluster migraines a month to almost zero, but still have single migraines 3-4 times a month which is much easier to manage and less debilitating.

Amazing doctor. I highly recommend her. She knows everything about seizures just by explaining what happened during and also after. So happy I found her for my husband.

I've been a patient of Dr Hyltons since 1991 and she is the best. Of all the neurologists I've seen over the years she is the only one who actually listens to her patients. She has seen me thru some very difficult and turbulent times and has always been great. She is the only doctor I've ever had who stands up for her patients and truly cares for their welfare.

I have been a patient of Dr Hylton's now for 20 years. If it were not for her, I would not be walking. In addition to her brilliance as a neurologist, she is kind, compassionate and very caring of her patients. She takes a personal interest in her patients. Her work ethic is unlike Dr's of today. I have never felt as though I was being herded through her office like a head of cattle. I have found NOTHING negative about Dr Hylton. That is the reason why I drive many miles to see her.

Very nice doctor but she will not write a simple note for me explaining to the Social Security Administration what she has readily told me in person on more than 2 occasions... very specific & vital information I need to provide to the SSA. Dr. Hylton will not give me any reason why she will not do this for me. Dr. Hylton is costing me thousands of dollars in unpaid benefits... unless you want to deal with a similar situation I would avoid her like the plague!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
