He was an excellent doctor. He is retired
I went to Dr Tam, as did my family. He was the best. An old fashioned Dr. He has retired and his children took over his practice. They are both awful. Rude, non comunicative, dismissive.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Dominic Tam for over 25 years. He is an extremely knowledgeable doctor who shows great empathy and cares for his patients. He is my favorite health care professional because he always puts patients first and has provided first-class care for us throughout the decades. We are so grateful for this and for having the chance to know such an exceptional person and doctor.

There isn't enough space available for me to describe my visit. But, I will not be returning to this office. Only go here if you want to arrive on time for your appointment and still be kept waiting for 2 hours with 8 people ahead of you, in a cramped waiting room with nowhere to sit. They didn't even bother to call and let me know that the doctor was running that far behind and give me the option to reschedule. Wasted my time. But, I'm sure if I had arrived 2 hours late they wouldn't see me.

Dr. Tam was great, I was a new patient, he knew exactly what my eczema was reacting to, prescribed 2 creams -Fluocinonide and Mometasone Furoate. He told me to use less laundry soap, double rinse and to use Cetaphil body soap (it's $3 ea bar, on sale -expensive!). I showered with the cetaphil that night, used both the creams as directed and the very next morning I knew all was good and my skin completely cleared up over the next couple of days. I went from miserable itching rashes to clear fast!

This review in not based on Dr. Tam's medical ability, but on how his office is run. They don't activate the phones during office hours, so you still get the answering service and can't talk to anyone. They book appointments too close together. Every time I've gone I've had to wait over an hour. I'm an hourly employee, so I don't get paid when I miss work. Simply disrespectful of his patients time. Prescription wasn't submitted to the pharmacy for several days after my appt.
