Dr. Donna Sliwowski, DO

Do not tell a patient your opinion of them. Make eye contact. Don’t confuse patients when their chart is in front of you. Don’t add diagnoses for higher CPT codes and billing. In my opinion monthly visits with associated charges are not standard of care. Long term stable patients should have 3, 4, or 6 month follow-ups. Get a real EMR system. Your office hallway is your waiting room with folding chairs. (Seriously?). One of my exam rooms was larger than the area you have for waiting patients. Monthly prescriptions for stable patients is the fastest way for patients to walk away and a controlling behavior. When politely questioned on topics, do not become aggressive, combative, threatened, or condescending. Update your office space. I bet it has not been painted or had new flooring, or “waiting chairs” in many, many years. Having a disheveled and disorganized personal office does not give a positive impression One personal and teleconference was enough for me to never see you again.

I was very anxious having experienced trauma in my life and this doctor helped get through it. I am Now working on the next steps in my life with food care. I’m so grateful.

She is rude and impatient, rushes appointment, is late even though she has a strict policy, and hangs up mid appointment when she feels threatened.

Dr. Sliwowski was incredibly rude on the phone. She does not listen and she thinks that she is better than everyone. Highly encourage patients to stay away from this doctor.

She was just really good for me. She really listened and I felt was compassionate too. But she could be honest when I needed it. More help than other doctors I saw

I needed to find someone I could count on. She is Very helpful and knowledgeable. I’m feeling way better now.

Hung up on you while talking and prescribe the wrong dosage. That was the scariest and discomfort feeling I had.

Dr.Sliwowski, I’d like to know why you hung the phone up on me when I needed answers.

Dr. S helped me pinpoint why I was not doing well. She calmed me when I needed it and her treatment and medication continue to help me now.

Someone from my dorm told me about Dr. S and I am so glad I listened. I recommend my doctor since she helped me with my problem immediately. My doctor is knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. She diagnosed my problem, then we did therapy since i did not want to take medicine. I am getting way better grades now and am getting along with my fraternity members, when before I was stressed and irritable. She is able to answer my questions and will never steer me wrong.

I want to work with the best in the field and my doctor is that. She got rid of a lot of patients who I thought were dead weight and came as walk ins and then complained about waiting. They were annoying, but they are gone now. She is in a new office which is really pretty and no wait. I know she wants to help everybody, but I am glad to have my doctor in her new office. I love it. She cares and knows so much. She does her research immediately if I have an unusual question.

While Dr. Sliwowski is a brilliant and caring doctor, her rules about being late or missing appointments are harsh given the fact that she is perpetually running late. With a scheduled appt. I have waited as long as 5 hours to see her when all I needed was a shot. Almost always she is an hour to an hour and a half late. Because of this I terminated my work with her.
