Dr. Durkhani Mahboob, MD

Dr. Mahboob is wonderful! Quickly Diagnosed me with Lupus after a month of pain and suffering. Put me on medication right away and is continuously adjusting so that I am feeling my best.

I’m not sure where other patient’s appointments went south with Dr Mahboob, she is pretty direct, she does want to help her patients, she does want feedback and if you don’t follow through she wants to know why. For me she has been a great doctor. She has researched prior to my appointment regarding medication compatibility with other health issues, will reach out to my other doctors to help facilitate better care for me, she has called me at home personally several times to discuss any changes or suggestions with my treatment. I will follow her wherever she goes. The staff in the office are very kind and very helpful with getting appointments in a jam. They have also made sure whenever I had RA flare ups and needed rx it was sent asap. I appreciate them all.Terri Lamb

Dr. Mahboob don't waste time. She's direct, clear, and will educate you while providing the best treatments for your medical situation. Dr. Mahboob promises made, were kept. I feel so much better! Thank you Dr. Mahboob!

Horrible! She is so rude, does not care about her patients, and mumbles when you talk. I am finding another Dr. This lady was terrible. I have never meet a Dr with such bad bed side manners. I don’t care what your career is you will never earn the respect of people by treating humans so inhumanly.

I was the first patience of the day at 8:00am and waited in the exam room for 45 minutes before she showed up without anyone checking on me or if I was still there. When she did finally arrive, she never made eye contact, prescribed a RA medication she knew would be rejected by insurance and REQUIRED a blood test I had not had done before starting, did not listen or want to know about my problem areas or lifestyle choices, and ignored my concerns. She had decided on a treatment option that she wanted, not what was right for me. Her decision was made without reviewing lab results or X-Rays and was in a rush to leave as soon as she walked in. She's extremely rude, condescending, and an absolute waste of your time.

I waited over an hour in the waiting room and I felt like she was rushing to get me in an out, she asked me questions but didn't seem to care what the answers were. She barely made eye contact. At the end of it all she said she doesn't think she can help me. I am having pain in my joints and visible swelling and seeing the specialist gave me hope that someone would care and take the time to help find out what is wrong. I left in despair that the 'specialist' cannot help me. But really I think I had the false belief that every doctor cares and works hard to treat their patients. I wished I read all these reviews ahead of time. I probably cannot get the money back that I paid, but at least I can help future people in need. Go somewhere else.

Look at these awful reviews. This human, if that’s what she is, should not be a doctor. She was entirely dismissive, wouldn’t make eye contact, talked down to me, saw me for less than five minutes, said it was all in my head. I have swollen joints and can’t walk. She is clearly mentally unstable. Waste of my money. I hope she gets reported. I’m looking to call the hospital and Florida health dept. This is insane after so many terrible reviews she is still practicing.

On the list of worse doctors! Believe most of the reviews about her. Does not listen to everything you say, If you have any aches and pains that don't show up on a blood test she will dismiss you. Will ask you if you've seen a psychiatrist, one of the first questions out of her mouth. She's condescending, uncaring and acts as if you are wasting her time. Seems to get agitated if you ask her questions. Offers no insight, chalks everything to aging or mental health and says there's nothing she can do. Although the staff is nice, avoid this doctor!

Took my 77yr old mother here today for a first visit referred by her PCP and first off she was ONE HOUR late getting back from lunch! Came in with a VERY rude and condescending attitude of “how dare you be upset that I wasted a whole hour of YOUR time” was VERY condescending to my mother, would cut her off, roll her eyes, tossing things around on counter, I’ve literally never experienced anything like it! I honestly felt like we were on candid camera. Acted like we were wasting her time! She just wanted to give my mother a shot in her shoulder without even ordering imaging. Would not recommend her to my worst enemy! Cannot fathom how this woman has a job.

I saw Dr. Mahboob for more than 2 years. As others have stated, she is rude and condescending. She gaslights you into thinking you couldn't possibly be in pain. I wound up walking out of an appointment and refuse to see anyone in the practice. If they are going to let her continue representing their brand, I will not settle for any of the other doctors.

After years of suffering from symptoms that mimic lupus, I went to see Dr. Mahboob. We went over my extensive medical history and all the symptoms that I have been having for years. She ordered initial blood work for lupus and it all came back negative except my ANA. On my follow up visit, she suggested that I see a psychologist because my labs were normal and she believed it was all in my head. However, she did order some other blood work that found a very high antibody count that warranted further evaluation. At this point I had lost all hope in her and doctors in general. She tried to make me believe that my symptoms weren’t real and that somehow I was manifesting them. Somehow I caused myself to become allergic to the sun, frequent fevers, visibily swollen joins and a whole host of other issues. I was so upset and happy when my results came back abnormal because it proved that I wasn’t crazy and she was just a bad doctor. I don’t recommend her to my worst enemy!

She was rude and acted like I was wasting her time. She would ask me a question then cut me off with condescending questions or comments. Told me that my deforming fingers and pain was normal arthritis issues for people beginning in their late 30’s. She ask me twice if I was depressed or if I’ve had my mental health evaluated because it could cause me to have my symptoms. Apparently she thinks mental health issues can cause the visible physical symptoms? She ignored the past 5 years of blood test and records and questioned other doctors diagnosis from them. Told me the medicine I’m currently taking should be working and just shook her head when I told her it wasn’t.

She does not have a good enough understanding of the English language to be able to coherently converse with her patients. She was rude and dismissive of me. She actually said, “Get out, we are done, follow in 2 weeks.” That is how she ended my first visit with her.

Great rheumatologist! Listens and very attentive to your needs. Spends as much time as needed to help her patients! Very impressed with here thoroughness! Would highly recommend.

Rude, short with her patients, and does not know how to do her job. She needs to watch her attitude and take courses on bedside manner!
