Dr. Shazia Beg, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Beg for over ten years. I have a very serious and rare chronic disease and whenever I need her help, she's there for me. She is the third specialist I've had since I got diagnosed. The first doctor was not up on the research about my illness; the second one was really smart but didn't ever look away from his computer screen. Dr. Beg is knowledgable and compassionate. What's more, she listens!

I have been seeing Dr Beg for several years now for lupus and fibromyalgia. With the lupus Dr Beg was concerned about some complaints I had with my heart. she sent me to a cardiologist and long story short they found an issue with a valve, I had open heart surgery and had the valve replaced. The doctor said the valve looked like cauliflower. And they found AFIB as well. Without her I may not be sitting here today she is very thorough she cares she listens to her patients and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone who might need a rheumatologist . I thank God for her.

I have been seeing Dr Beg since 2017. She is without a doubt one of the best doctors I have seen. She is intelligent and knowledgeable in her field. When I first saw her I couldn’t get out of bed because of pain. She determined that I had an additional autoimmune disease that had been missed. With the correct diagnosis and medication I got my life back. One of the things I like best about her is she really cares about her patients. She is compassionate and she listens. She also works with my other doctors to ensure I have the best treatment possible. I deeply appreciate that she goes above and beyond. When needed I communicate with her through the patient portal and I always get a timely response.

I’ve seen Dr. Beg for my RA/lupus since 2016 - probably right when she started her practice and she’s turned my life around for better (health wise) I just love her! Of course I still have flares up but she knows how to handle my medications and if something isn’t working she’s on it making changes right away- I just luv her!! She’s caring, compassionate, and her bedside manner is beyond special!! She listens to you and everything you’re feeling and going through! Luv you Dr. B!!!

Very sad to say that I called to make an appointment for my wife and I was told that they are not taking new patients, and that other doctors are booked , and the earliest appointment with another doctor would be in 2019 , WOW

Dr. Beg is the best of the best! She is attentive to her patients, genuine & sincere. I have a vast knowledge in the health care industry and have left many rheumatologists over the years because of poor bedside manners, lack of knowledge, only interested in writing RX's for which they receive a kick back on and undesirable customer service displayed by their office staff. Dr. Beg, her nurse, Kimberly, scheduler, Kathryn and coordinator Susan Danforth are absolutely exceptional! Thank you

Excellent care. Very good and complete exams. Ask and truly cares about answers. Prepared from exam to exam with details of situation. Empathy shown when flare ups.
