I have been seeing Dr. Gonzalez for about two years. It all started with a visit with a killer case of sciatica, but by the time I drove home, there was barely any pain. My PAIN doctor had failed to relieve the pain. That's star number 1. I continued to see him, since I have a complicated set of arthritic and orthopedic 'issues,' Dr. Gonzalez was interested in all of it, and asked probing questions. He doesn't advertise that he is holistic, but he is very concerned about the way the body works in harmony. I had ankle fusion surgery, which he monitored, and he'd check on the lack of healing and my test results. He asked what supplements the surgeon put me on to help build bone (none) and he prescribed three different things that I have been faithfully taking. After 10 months, the surgeon & I decided to re-do the fusion. This time I have built up bone strength from Dr. Gonzalez' suggestions, and after 2 1/2 months, I'm already allowed to put full weight on the fused ankle. ******
