Instead of treating my mom & ordering blood gases, this doctor chose to say it was God’s Plan & time for her to sit in the throne next to Jesus to avoid helping her. She passed away due to neglect by this doctor while under his care at NAMC - but still emails her!!! Don’t take your loved ones to his clinic unless you want them to pass away painfully & without getting to say your goodbyes! he also made her DNR without consulting her medical power of attorney - she was NOT DNR!

Highly recommend
Dr. Holden is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor ever! His knowledge saved my husband’s life! He is well worth any wait time, which happens from time to time due to him not able to get away from the hospital. But he is so worth any wait time in my opinion!

Very rude
When my husband was dying of pneumonia, I went up to Dr Holden in the CCU and tried to ask him about my husband Before I could get out "Dr. HOLDEN....", he put his finger up to his lips and said "Shhhhhhhh" and he walked off. I'll NEVER get over that. It hurt me deeply. My husband passed the next day

Dr Holden needs better scheduling
Mom is always having to wait at least 2 hours for her appointments. For elderly folks that cant sit for long periods of time this is atrocious. The office staff especially front desk isnt friendly and doesn't answer questions regarding schedule or wait times. This time they didn't have enough seats in the waiting area to accommodate folks and the seating outside was full and seating in downstairs lobby has been removed ao those traveling with patients have no where to sit and wait. I have taken my mother to see this Doctor 3 tines and have had to wait at least a minimum of 1 hour and a half. it is 2:06 now and a patient with a 1:15 appt is still waiting for her appt. He may be a friendly doctor but he and his staff need to be more respectful of patients time also. We dont get to charge a late fee or get reimbursed for ling waits.

I have experience with Dr. Holden both in the hospital and in the office. He is a deeply caring man who listens and takes time to make sure you understand what he recommends. I have had long waits in the office, but I know this is because he gives so much time to his patients in the hospital, so I won't criticize him for it. If that bothers you, you can schedule your appointment with his PA who has a better on-time record. I think very highly of Dr. Holden and his staff and their willingness to schedule televisits.

I worry about my health a lot, and was recently diagnosed with Sleep Apnea, and mild asthma. For me that is terrifying. The expense of the medical equipment alone was enough to give me a panic attack, but Dr. Holden has been a real gift through this. Making recommendations and actively helping me manage my conditions, and looking out for what else needs to be monitored. I am thankful for his attention to my health.

Dr. Holden is so nice. I'm usually very tense in a doctor's office but he totally had me relaxed at first contact. He doesn't act like he's rushing you and really listens to what you have to say. Everyone of his staff is personable and efficient. The wait time was a bit long but that's because he takes time with his patients. It is well worth the wait. I would absolutely recommend him.

Dr. Holden is good at explaining your conditions to you but the office staff is a whole different ballgame. They say they will call you and don't, there is one in particular Beverly (office manager I think) she has no mannerisms no professionalism she is a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE to deal with in the office so if you are trying to explain something to her get ready to repeat yourself NUMEROUS times. She acts like she doesn't care what your problems are. My opinion she doesn't need that job !!!!!!!

Dr. Holden is great, his office manager, or whomever works in office named Beverly, is a customer service NIGHTMARE. She has no manners, nor professionalism as she is representing Dr. Holden & his medical practice. Other than her, I give him two thumbs up. I don't mind waiting long hours because he is very thorough. I miss his previous employees, must have high turn over.
