Be vigilant
Dr. Freitas failed to treat my elderly mother when she was sent to him for IV antibiotics, via her primary Dr., for an ongoing UTI and positive cultures and protozoa present. She was told to just drink more water. My mom developed sepsis with severe brain damage and spent the last months of her life in a nursing home. They said she was asymptomatic is why they didn't treat her. Not true. She went to him with severe confusion, which they were told happened when she had a UTI. When she had long strings of white mucous when she urinated they still said couldn't go by that. But not once did they do a sterile sample and culture.
