Mediocre at best
We sought out a female GP and Mrs. Davelis is indeed a female, but beyond this point she is unsatisfactory in every other way. Her main function as a doctor appears to be referring us to other doctors. Although we all need a GP in some capacity, if there's already a specialist in the Rush group that can handle your specific issues- seeing Mrs. Davelis will prove to be nothing short of a redundancy. Furthermore, after trying reaching out to her via MyChart numerous times and consistently getting the brush off over matters that fell out of her comfort zone- she blocked our ability to contact her through MyChart (messages fail to be delivered and get written off with an Oops!) Not impressed.

Charges too much
I had insurance and went to establish care with her. She charged me extra only because I discussed 2 additional health issues and asked for her thoughts on them. Because of this discussion, I got charged extra although she didn't diagnose me and I didn't ask to be diagnosed. If you bring up any issue about an existing condition or questions about your health, she can charge you extra as a 'office visit' instead of a regular exam. Can't ask questions, you risk your money.
