Life Saver!
I met Dr. Eli Levine when I was admitted to Boca Raton Regional Hospital for chest pain. He implanted a stent in the 98% occluded 'widow-maker' artery and I felt relief immediately during the procedure! In a follow-up visit several months later, I learned Dr. Levine treats peripheral vascular problems as well. I presented a very swollen left leg due to a serious cellulitis condition which had been treated by several physicians. Dr. Levine had a immediate solution for the swelling. Other care providers had either over-looked or under-estimated the amount of pain and suffering this swollenness caused me. In just days under his treatment, my walking improved markedly and I feel better than I have in several years! I am very blessed to have the services of this fine physician and his team.

My experience with Dr. Levine with the most terrible ever. He showed up 3 1/2 hours late, while the blood pressure cuff was killing me, was arrogant. Never called to see how I was and so much more. The worst doctor ever. Didn't bother to tell me I DID NOT need a stent. Months later I am still traumatized.

Dr. Levine is amazing!! We admit that sometimes there is a long wait, but that is because he gives each patient all of the time needed to answer questions and put the patients at ease. We appreciate the fact that he is proactive with his testing. We always want to be ahead of the curve instead of in an emergency situation. Dr. Levine is well-trained and highly respected in his field.

Very bad - 1 hour 45 minutes wait to finally see another cardiologist in his practice - office focused on booking multiple separate futur appointments - days later…talked to Dr Levine; very impatient, stressed an arrogant- I canceled all my futur appointments and testing with that practice.

I couldn’t in good conscience recommend this practice to anyone I know. Long wait times in the waiting room, you may miss a meal or two. Bungled services when scheduling procedures.

New patient visit was literally 3 minutes with Dr. Levine. He determined I should have 4 tests ( 3 done in his office- all separate appointments). with no explanation and inquired if I had any questions. A lot of information to digest in 3 minutes so impossible to know what to ask. Had first test and the physician assistant left a message advising to stay in statins and aspirin ...which alarmed me as I am not in any medications...at all, and never have been. When I called for clarification at 9:20 in the morning for clarification, I was told he would call back. At 9:30 that night, he left a message saying to come in for my stress test next month. That was it. I find they have too many patients and are too busy. Office staff is very nice which is the only positive I can say after my disappointment experience.

Eli put three stents in my heart at two different times saving my life. Even though I have had to wait on occasion because he is saving someone else’s life I feel he really cares about his patients. I’m so glad he takes Medicaid so he can continue being my doctor.

my experience with dr. levine has been mixed. the good: successful placing of a stent without complication. the bad: a bit aggressive on the upsell for my taste; appointments usually now with non-physician; communication with office staff has been spotty; and a few comments from dr. levine about one of my other doctors that were perhaps not very professional. but remember: this is florida where many doctors are marginally competent or frankly inept. you could do a lot worse.

Dr Levine is a very dedicated cardiologist who is filled with compassion and gives you as much time as you need to answer your questions. He is a superb diagnostician who was right on in diagnosing my problem. As brilliant as he is, he is not egotistical. One of the many attributes which impressed me when I first met him, he asked me,if necessary, would I mind him bringing in other doctors for a consult. What a Mensch! He has surrounded himself with a caring staff who are just like him

Let me start with my parent being admitted to Delray Medical Center for shortness of breath and severe chest pain. Dr. Levine was the cardiologist on rotation. He was wonderful, because of him all the necessary tests were done. Even when the admitting doctor wanted to dismiss her two days prior. Dr. Levine called on an echo and congestive heart failure was rued out.

Dr. Eli Levine has been a blessing for me. His diagnosis was spot on, he was prompt doing the procedure and his surgical skill proved to be top notch. Also, Dr. Levine is a concerned doctor who follows up with visits to my hospital room. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Levine as my interventional cardiology doctor.
