Did not listen to me.
After months of fighting to finally be diagnosed with my autoimmune diseases I switched to Dr. Ray. My first and only visit she basically blew me off saying I didn’t have any autoimmune conditions despite plenty of data and pretty much eluded that my weight was the reason I’m having back and joint pain. Will not be returning.

Excellent Rheumatology Doctor
I have been a patient of Dr. Ray for almost 5 years. She is very pleasant, caring and listens to your concerns with empathy. She treats me for osteoporosis, arthritis and a number of autoimmune diseases. She also shows concern to provide me with pain relief. Dr. Ray is very easy to talk to. She is very thorough in ordering diagnostic tests to provide a complete understanding of the issues you are having and make a treatment plan. She follows up with me every six months, but if I have a problem, she responds usually in the same day on My Chart. I can’t speak more highly about her and feel very confident in the suggestions and care she provides.

Didn't feel listened to even with TONS of bloodwork history. She didn't think I had a certain disease because I didn't have symptoms. The bloodwork shows positive (I know symptoms need to be included as well), I had to point out that of the 3 symptoms she named, I had 2 & a positive test. I came 2 hours to see her because I'm that desperate for answers. I went home, had an allergic reaction to something unrelated; saw my dermatologist. My derm asked a bunch of questions & looked at my history then told me "I don't like what I'm seeing with you. I'm pretty sure you have MORE than 1 autoimmune disease." I explained my ongoing frustration & luckily she (an MD), herself has 3 autoimmune diseases & told me I wasn't crazy & we were going to get to the bottom of it. Needless to say, she biopsied three spots for autoimmune diseases, set me up with a full pulmonary function test (because like I told Dr. Ray; Xrays show lung & heart inflammation & I have trouble breathing.) She def. blew me off.
