Dr. Elspeth Springsted, MB BS

I was an inpatient at Roanoke Memorial Hospital with pneumonia and a pleural effusion. Dr. Springsted entered my room without introducing herself, the nurse looked up her name in the notes. She's very arrogant, and has that ' I know what I'm doing' attitude. She is currently a 3rd year resident. She has zero compassion. I wanted to talk to a different doctor so my nurse send out a message. Well she comes barging in, her high and mighty self, and says she is the only doctor in the hospital with the expertise in this field and she's the only one I can talk to. I've worked with many Physicians in my career, not one of them with this God complex attitude that Dr. Elspeth has. Be better.

I went in with complaints of pnuemonia, the x-ray showed I had pnuemonia, she told me I didn't have pnuemonia and sent me for a CT chasing a rare disease, the CT came back with pnuemonia a week ago and I still haven't heard back from her, it has now been a month since I have had pnuemonia with no treatment and I continue to get worse. I send messages to the Dr and she never responds
