Although Dr. Bourhill is a outstanding doctor his staff is very rude. Everytime I call Dr. Bourhill's office the staff I speak to are very short, sound upset, or just flat out hateful with you. When a patient is calling you there is obviously something wrong whether they need to be seen or they need a prescription filled. Everytime I call I get someone who doesn't seem like they want to be bothered. They say they will call you back. Never do. Honestly, working in health care myself, I'm embarrassed for this practice. Mostly for Dr.Bourhill because I feel as though if he knew the way his staff treated his patients.. he would be embarrased too.

Have gone to Dr. Chaconas at the same practice for 13 years. Recently he became a concierge doctor so decided to switch to Bourhill. Went for one appointment and waited an hour to be seen (never more than 15 minutes with Chaconas). Now trying to get a prescription for PT and keep getting an outdated message. Got through once 2 weeks ago but he never sent the scrip. Tried again today and got a sob story from receptionist about being too busy to answer phone or change message.

Dr. Bourhill has been my PCP for nearly 20 years. When I had my stroke (at the age of 42), Dr. Bourhill sat with me and took the time to explain step by step exactly what I could & should expect from each specialist involved in my care. He explained tests and procedures that the specialist neglected to clarify. He helped to put my mind at ease. Dr. Bourhill takes the time to actually get to know his patients. He cares. As long as he is practicing, he will be my PCP.
