Dr. Eric Heller, MD

i have been a patient of the doctor for 2 years since 2023 and i do a routine heart check every year with him however this year the experience was very disturbing as the office set me up with his nurse and he did not see me i wonder how a respected physican would leave his patient in the care of a nurse. i decided not to take the appointment and left the office . this is unaccpetable from a doctor as i have a heart condition and i would assume he would protect his profession and name and not ask a nurse to do his job. i would never go again to see him . in addition i wasted a whole afternoon as i had to wait over half an hour to see a nurse. this is truly absurd and insulting

Hands down Dr Eric Heller is absolutely the best cardiologist in South Florida. Dr Heller listens, diagnosis and actually finds the reason to your symptoms. Dr Heller diagnosed what two other cardiologists could not. The other cardiologists coughed it up to stress. (does that sound familiar?) Thank God I listened to my intuition. Dr. Heller is a blessing in the Cardiology world

Putting aside Dr. Heller’s pedigree, which no other physician in Florida or elsewhere can beat, his knowledge of cardiology and medicine in general is exceptional. I have never come across another doctor who took into consideration the entire physiology like Dr. Heller does. He was able to diagnose what 2 other cardiologists missed. On top of that, he is a true mensch. I am a devoted patient for life!

Dr. Heller is kind, caring & compassionate. He gives me all the time I need, which is very rare in this area/BPC!!! If anyone has a problem getting into the office & or return phone calls, this is usually due to the Office Management, (including messages left on a machine that are never RETURNED!) Iris, his MA is always warm & wonderful & a great asset to this practice! Please report any & all difficulties w/OFFICE Appt & ER’s directly to Dr.Heller… as he does listen & must be aware of all CRITICAL/OFFICE ISSUES & COMPLAINTS! After hours, always call 911 for a Medical ER… Dr. Heller recommends always being transported to Delray Medical, only Trauma One Hospital in the area…The hospital will definitely get in touch w/Dr. Heller, if he isn’t already in the hospital! Dr.Heller is a Blessing to all! He’s helped me in other areas of medicine as a Cancer Patient & simply has been a LIFESAVER, for myself! Dr. Heller is a 10 Star Physician & a great Human Being!

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Heller. He is pleasant, highly educated and listens to you. He saved my life 2 years ago after discovering I needed a new heart valve. More recently my husband was diagnosed with afib and Dr. Heller is treating him cautiously for that. We have found his staff to be very friendly with the exception of one person who is no longer there so all is well. We highly recommend Dr.Heller.

Excellent Cardiac diagnostician with outstanding credentials. I had open hearty surgery with Dr. OZ in 2003, and have continued to be monitored since then. Dr. Heller is cautious, but definitely not an alarmist. He checks everything necessary before making a diagnosis. He is pleasant and knowledgable.

He is compassionate and highly skilled. My experience following the insertion of the stents, was outstanding. I highly endorse this exceptional cardiologist.

My problem is not with Dr. Heller. My problem is that on several occasions now I left messages to be called about issues and do not get return calls. I recently left 5 messages and was promised a call back and I am still waiting. It is a billing question where they billed my husband for a visit he never made. Dr. Heller is fine but I can't deal with his staff.

We were looking for a cardiologist for my 94 year old uncle, who was suffering from shortness of breath, chest pains and general weakness. My friend strongly recommended Dr. Eric Heller. Dr. Heller managed to see him the same day. The next morning he performed on him a procedure in the hospital. Within 48 hours my uncle felt better and within a week , he became active. This was about a year ago , and my uncle is still going strong. He's under Dr. Heller 's supervision and feels great. I strongly recommend Dr. Eric Heller for anybody that has cardiac problems.

Dr. Eric Heller, MD Cardiologist - UNCARING, UNPROFESSIONAL, BE VERY, VERY CAREFUL. At 4 pm I texted Dr. Heller complaining of chest pain. He responded I should call his office so he can "get me in". I called and no one answered so I texted Dr. Heller to have someone call me which they did within 5 minutes. The girl said I should come over before 4:45 because Dr. Heller would be leaving. I told her I'd be there before 5 since I couldn't guarantee the traffic. I told her to make sure the doctor waited for me. She said OK. I left at 4:25 and texted Dr. Heller I was on my way. When I got to Jog and Linton, I texted Dr. Heller that I was 5 minutes away. At 4:48 I was in the parking lot and Dr. Heller's office called to say "he couldn't see me today". I explained I was in the parking lot and was told it was the end of the day and he couldn't see me.
