Dr. Eric Lloyd, MD

Dr. Lloyd was very caring- he explained everything in detail before hand- I could not be more pleased with the care I received. If you ever are in need of an ortho doctor, call Dr. Lloyd.

I underwent ankle surgery performed by Dr. Lloyd in 2021, and I cannot praise him enough. His bedside manner is truly exceptional, providing comfort and reassurance at every stage of the process. Dr. Lloyd's knowledge is remarkable, and he communicates complex information in a personable manner, making it easy to understand. He has been a supportive presence throughout my recovery, demonstrating genuine care and expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Lloyd for anyone seeking a skilled and compassionate orthopedic surgeon.

Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Lloyd and his office staff was a very negative experience. First and foremost, I walked into a followup with zero pain and swelling to walking out after the appointment with pain and swelling and most disturbing, xRays showing that the arm fracture had gotten worse. Everything from bad patient reports (referencing my arm fracture as a leg), to the medical assistant not knowing how to do a splint on an arm or put on a prosthetic, let alone being rude and not helpful, to the Doctor not overseeing the splinting at any point. Super high risk in healing in a non-optimal way. Finally, I had to get a second opinion. I'm so happy I did - feeling so much better now and back to being an active individual.

I called for an appointment in the morning and got in a couple hours later. I was experiencing excruciating pain from calcific tendonitis. Dr. Lloyd was the best. Gave me a cortisone shot, asked me to wait a few days for pain relief and he was right. I had my doubts but within a few days the pain gradually subsided. I am very happy I was able to see Dr. Lloyd.

Dr Lloyd diagnosed and recommended treatment which was very successful for Achilles tendinitis.

Dr. Lloyd is one of my favorite doctors. He is very knowledgable and very kind.

Dr LLoyd performed outstanding surgery in March for the 3 broken bones in my left ankle. I have 9 screws and 2 plates in my ankle and have resumed golf, 3 days a week, after 3 months of recovery. I would recommend him and his practice.

Awful Dr. He does not listen to the patient. Leaves patient in room with med student. Did not call to get results Of MRI

Really nice guy. But, if you need achilles tendon surgery.... I'd advise finding another MD.

Ignore the bad reviews here. (Typical S Florida whining). Dr. Lloyd is a smart, detail oriented physician who cares about his patients and takes the time to deal with their issues. I have been very pleased with his attentive and excellent care of the torn ligaments in my foot. An Ivy League trained doctor, you probably could not find a better (or nicer) orthopod in Palm Beach County.

If you are looking for the best Orthopedic who specializes in foot and ankle STOP looking! This is your Dr. He knows exactly what he's doing. He has a very conservative non invasive approach. He is very caring and calm and I never felt rushed. I have been seeing him for the past 6 months for a foot injury which now has resulted in sever midfoot osteoarthritis. His approach was "slow and steady" which was best for me. He is a Dr who listens to you and returns phone calls.

I saw Dr. Lloyd for a foot injury. He mismanaged my case. I would not recommend him.

My experience with Dr. Lloyd was disappointing and frustrating. He told me that my feet were in such bad condition that there was nothing he could do for me because I needed too many surgeries.. His bed side manner left much to be desired. He did not even examine my feet or look at the areas that were hurting me. He never explained anything to me about the surgeries that I needed.He did not answer my questions and was anxious to move on to his next patient. He did recommend PT and an exercise.

While he may be a good doctor the office is not run well. Waits of over 1 1/2 hours for a 10 minute visit is not acceptable.

Congratulations to Dr. Eric Lloyd and his very fine office staff and colleagues of Boca Raton Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. I am delighted at the very fine and professional treatment I received from Dr. Lloyd who walked me through a very difficult situation having arrived to his office with a fractured pelvis and fractured humerus. Four months later I am walking miles a day & healing well. Thank you so much for your knowledge and professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend Dr. Lloyd.

Dr.Llyod has made quite a difference in our family life. My husband had a unusual surgery performed, by Dr. Llyod, on his ankle and he can now walk several hours at a theme park with our young children, or go for a walk on the beach. These simple activities were not so simple prior to his ankle surgery and became a nuisance in our every day life. Dr. Lloyd's heartfelt bedside manner and honest interest in our surgical case was and is appreciated! I would recommend anyone in need to make an apt.

I went to Dr Lloyd because I was having pain in my hips his treatment plan was to send me to physical therapy which I did went back to him he said will give it more time I left his office an seen another doctor I needed both my hips replaced Maybe we should listen to his patients a little bit better. I would never recommend this doctor I went to months of pain because he miss diagnosed me I would never send anybody to this doctor
