I have been a patient of Dr Mukai for 16 years. He has always been attentive and caring. He calls with important information and never rushes. He answers all questions and offers solutions to every issue.

My wife and I have been a patient of Dr. Mukai's for over 11 years. We have found him to be very caring, attentive to our unique concerns and with easy access. How many doctors would call a patient reporting a result of a test that he knew was very concerning to the patient? We love his sence of humor and caring demeanor. We have found him up to date, willing to listen and makes our visit with him quite enjoyable. We have even recommended him to several of our friends.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mukai for five years; he is my primary care provider. He always truly listens, gives me detailed and helpful feedback, and spends the time needed (never rushes me out). Whenever I've needed a referral he does so immediately and works with me when I want to see someone other than the standard referral. He also is extremely responsive if I leave a message.

Dr.Mukai was the worst doctor I've ever had ..He says he's had over 20 yrs of experience but yet anytime I had an appointment with him he wouldn't have a clue how to treat anything ..all he would say is drink more water ..wow..I can only drink so much water ..I have a new doctor now and she did all my exams and can't believe what I had gone through with Dr Mukai..she did tests and she found out what was wrong with me ..thank God I changed doctors ..I don't recommend him

I’m not sure what’s up with all of the negative reviews on here. I’ve been to Dr. Mukai twice and each time he took the time to discuss what was going on in-depth and explain it to me without being condescending like some doctors mistakenly do. He’s extremely knowledgeable, in my opinion and has been respectful to me both visits. I’d recommend him.

He's the worst Doctor I've ever been too. Last time I went to go see him he went on a rant about how is patients don't know anything and he knows everything. He was condescending the entire appointment. I felt so uncomfortable. And the issue I went in to see him with was confirmed by another doctor. He basically blew off the finding of the other doctor and told me I'll be just fine when I needed medical treatment. This guy is the worst.

This doctor is of extremely poor quality and his partners should really take note! Not only does he disregard his patient's complaints, but he fails to follow through with care or check-up on his patients. Never have I dealt with such blatant disregard of the Hippocratic oath! He also refuses to understand his limitations as an internal medicine family practitioner, refusing to adhere to the advice of other specialized health professionals as it pertains to the care of patients in his practice.

I have been seeing Dr. Mukai for years, and am 100% satisfied with the care I have received. I have a medical background myself, and he always listens respectfully to my ideas and opinions. He thoughtfully offers options for my concerns instead of just dictating what he thinks is best. I find him to be friendly and easy to communicate with. Urgent care issues are handled promptly.

He refused to fill my RX that I have been taking for years with great success. I even provided proof of these with medical records and RX bottles. He just told me they weren't working for me and I had to see specialists. I wasted 3 months trying to get in to see him and over $300 in medical bill just for referrals which never called me for over 6 months. Wow don't waste your time with him or other providers with Maine Health they will not give you medication.

Unwilling to do any sort of research to further his knowledge and help his patients. Doesn't seem to listen very well. He seemed to have unwavering assumptions of my situation no matter how I tried to explain it. very frustrating.
