From when I walked into the clinic I felt welcomed. The staff was very sweet and kind. Dr.Smith made sure I was confident and knowledgeable about the whole visit. He went over everything and made me feel better about the issues I am having. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

Every time I have been here the employees here at Baylor Dallas are very welcoming from the valet parking, pre-registration, Techs, cleaning crew, nurses, doctors, cafeteria staff, treat you like a human and kind. Its amazing to see how the employees here act and treat you as family. I must say that i work at UTSW and its nothing like this. I have to give it to the staff here, you guys are top notch. Thank you Dr. Smith(urologist )for all that you do and the tenacity and the education and skill that you have to do what you do. Thank you everyone.

The staff here is very pleasant, professional and get things done in a timely manner. Dr. Smith took his time to understand why I was there. He sat with me and reviewed my health records before coming up with a plan. I felt he genuinely cared about helping me with my problems. I am confident he will get to the bottom of my symptoms and not just relive my issue for a few weeks. I will continue to drive over an hour to see this doctor, he is worth it!!

Dr Eric Smith was called to consult on my 91 year old father at Baylor Scott & White in Dallas because he had been bleeding out from an improperly placed Foley catheter upon arriving at the ER. After waiting for him to see my father for 3 days while he was bleeding out he arrived and his words were, “ What do you want me to do about it? It’s not a urological issue”. He was rude, had zero compassion and and left without looking at the problem. I hope this will save someone else from his callous behavior.

Without a doubt, Dr. Eric Smith deserves all five of these stars and then some. In September 2019, while undergoing surgery related to kidney stones, I suffered a major heart attack. My heart stopped. Dr. Smith quickly began CPR and paddles to try to get my heart started again. After about 3 minutes my heart started beating. I'm am here to tell this story all because of Dr. Eric Smith. Beyond his life saving abilities, Dr. Smith has always sought out the best treatment for my recurring kidney stone issues, explains things to me in a way I can understand and always allows me to make the choice of how I want to proceed. Dr. Smith is by far the best doctor I have ever had. THANK YOU Dr. Eric Smith, you saved my life.

In the course of 81 years I have lived in a dozen or more places and experienced a significant variety of medical problems, I have been in the care of many, many doctors, nearly all of them good to excellent. Doctor Smith is, in all respects, among the best two or three ever, and is the very best among those I have consulted recently! His most memorable trait is his compassion – a virtue in which he has no equal! If it were possible, I would entrust all of my medical issues to him.

Dr. Smith is very thoughtful and cares about my specific health issues and concerns. He answered all of my question and has the ability to make difficult conversations understandable. He is a great doctor an caring person.

We love giving Dr. Smith a hard time when we come for the annual visit. Great bedside manner and never makes you feel he is in such a hurry to get to the next patient. He treats you like you are his only patient that day. We highly recommend him especially for erectile dysfunction. The compound medication my husband takes has certainly change our love life. Be sure to ask him about this. The medication cost is drastically less than all the Cialis and other medications advertised on TV.
