Very Rude and rushes you to make a decision.
My husband and I came back to get biopsy results and he just says before siting down u have prostate cancer and this is what I you need to do when I said I want time to talk it over and look at all options he was very rude and told me it wasn't my decision it is my husbands just totally disregarded me very disrespectful, unprofessional , and rude. Whatever we decide to do it won't be with him !!

Worst mannered doctor ever
I had a horrible experience at his practice. After waiting for 30 minutes my wife and I were taken to the back where we were informed that she could not accompany me for the procedure. During my consult a few weeks earlier I had expressed to him my nervousness and desire for my wife to be with me. He gave no indication that this would be a problem. He even gave me a prescription for 2 Valium but required my wife to be there in order to drive me home. After asking the nurse to ask the doctor he promptly opened the door where we were waiting and without introducing himself to my wife or even saying hello to me, he simply said, “No, it wasn’t going to happen.” Such arrogance, I took the time to call the VA Choice Care System to Lodge a complaint. Do yourself a favor and shop around.

My first visit was 2/2019. My last visit was 11/2019. During those months Dr Goldberg was able to guide me through surgery and treatments for B.P.H. and a blown out bladder with diverticula. I no longer have to self catheterize, flow is unrestricted and I am really happy with the results. A very caring and conscientious MD and staff with lots of expertise.

Dr. Goldberg's waiting area is not the most attractive and the doctor himself is not the kind of guy to spend time chit-chatting -- in fact, he's pretty blunt. That said, this is one of the most efficient medical offices I've ever seen, so you won't be spending much time in the waiting area -- you'll likely be getting attention in an exam room in less than five minutes. And the doctor, being one of the best and busiest docs in the area doesn't have time for much non-medically related conversation -- he diagnoses and tells you his findings, answers the questions you have, tells you what he wants you to do when you leave his office, and moves on to his next patient. About a month ago the doctor did a Rezum procedure on me to relieve BPH problems. He does those procedures only on Saturdays (when traffic is minimal), and total time for the procedure and travel to and from my house was less than 90 minutes. The best news is that, one month out from the procedure, results are very good.

building and office all built or made around 1970. Waiting room furniture from probably a garage sale in 1970, nothing updated. Staff friendly to a point but seem unhappy and unmotivated. Went in for a testicle lump. Goldberg rushed, rude, felt a hand shake was almost insulting and inconvenient. Not interested in sitting back and talking about my concerns but relied on his PA to do all the exam work. I Asked about testosterone treatments due to multiple symptoms he played it off as another illness. Informed him of my count and he stood up as if I slapped him and insulted his mother. Walked out of the room explaining he wouldn’t think about it or a much lower number. No hand shake out the door, no have a good day, come back if you need anything or even get lost. Horrible bedside manner, rushing to get to his every 10 min scheduled patients. Only seem to care about erections or steam cleaning prostates. shouldn't be associated with UT Southwestern. Don’t go.

Went for an elective vasectomy. The good doctor is short and to the point and explains everything thoroughly. The procedure had a couple hiccups, though he was very apologetic. Everything healed up fine and in the predicted amount of time, so I had no issues with the hiccups. I do have a resistance to anesthesia, so that hiccup was expected. Additional local was administered and the remainder of the procedure was fine. Followed the post op instructions to the letter and gave myself a couple extra days just in case. The follow up was short and I was out the door in good health with zero counts as expected. I am pleased with my experience, but I don't feel a stellar rating is possible due to the hiccups I experienced. I would have no issue recommending Dr. Goldberg, but would caution those who don't like quick, to the point and move on to the next patient interactions. He will stay and answer any questions you have, if you ask.

The Office has a friendly and very professional staff focused on helping the patient get better. Dr. Goldberg is a no nonsense specialist very knowledgeable in his field; who knows the patient's time is precious and will ensure you are in-and-out in the most efficient way. After I mentioned my concerns he enrolled me in a test group where I receive additional and more detailed monitoring.

When I came to Dr Goldberg, I had an existing prostate issue but did not have any progress in over 5 years of treatment at another clinic. Within 2 months, the specific issue that was the underlying issue for me was identified through some specific tests and I have received absolutely the best care and diagnosis for a proper treatment.

Dr. Goldberg very quickly identified that I had prostate cancer by sending me for an MRI followed up with in-bore biopsies. He quickly had me in for surgery and am now cancer free. I could not more highly recommend him as he is extremely knowledgeable and very quick about getting things done.
