I had my initial appointment on April 1. I went in as a new patient. I have been on testosterone replacement for years and I just moved to Texas. My appointment lasted all of five minutes. The doctor asked me to come back and give blood in which I did on the fourth of April . The following Tuesday I figured my bloodwork was back so I called the office to find out what I am supposed to be doing. I was given their portal to use and check when the bloodwork come back, which it did the following day. I seen it on the portal. There was no notes from the doctor nor from any nurses only the lab work so at that point, I sent a message back through the portal asking what my next steps were and What these numbers meant “NO RESPONSE “ so after a few days more I called the office no answer. I had to leave a message for the nurse so I ask what I am supposed to be doing. How am I supposed to get my medication? Can someone please call me back again? “NO RESPONSE “ so again I waited today is April 17 still no word from the doctor so again I call the office again. No one answers the phone. I have to leave a message for the nurse again in which I did! It is now the afternoon of the 17th and the doctor has not called me nor the nurse. I am not sure how they’re running this place but if you’re a patient that actually needs medication and needs a doctor that responds or at least follows up with his patients this is not the place for you Although I did receive $810 worth of bills for my one visit and bloodwork in which they’re asking me to pay !!! Crazy that people can get away with charging you for no service at all

Non responsive staff
Dr ordered CT scan to confirm size of kidney stones and determine whether a procedure for removal would be necessary, Over a week after results were provided by the lab and after multiple emails, phone calls and requests for portal access I still have not had calls returned. I should have read reviews prior to selecting this practice as it seems like this is a common refrain for the entire practice. Hopefully, I will at some point, speak to the Doctor and he will address this as he appeared quite competent at my initial visit. Having said that the staff follow up leaves much to be desired or perhaps they are understaffed.

No follow up, no resolution
The office seems to be chaos at this clinic. I saw dr. Danawala and told him I have a history of kidney stones and was hospitalized in 2022 with sepsis. A week later the nurse called and said I have strep in my urine (whatever that means) and called in an antiboitic. Another week and the nurse called again, my ct scan had been reviewed. I had a kidney stone embedded in each kidney and there is nothing that can be done. (from what I know that could be true) There was no follow up. My urine still looks the same and I still feel like something is wrong. I probably still have the infection. I am going somewhere else.

Dr. Danawala is first class. Since I was told that I have Prostate Cancer I have seen 4 Urologists and without question he is the best….cutting edge knowledge (5 year out of residency and he listens to the patient)My only regret is that I did not find him earlier.

One star it too many
Probably among the worst experiences that I've had with a doctor in my lifetime. He's condescending, incredibly arrogant, and rude. His behavior certainly did nothing to make me trust him. Find someone better. This guy is all about portraying an image. I also noticed that a lot of the positive reviews here sound suspiciously similar.

Unorganized office. We got marked as a no show while sitting in the waiting room and when we asked to see the office manager we were told no. They lost a lot of paperwork. The surgery was almost reschedule due to their incompetence.

I just brought my elderly, immune-compromised father in for a visit this week. I had asked repeatedly for a televisit, but was told he had to come in to the office. The doctor did not even look at my father, much less examine him, run tests, or any other reason for an in-office visit. The office was not covid safe. Patients were allowed to enter the office and waiting area without wearing masks. The waiting area had so much furniture that maintaining 6' separation from others was not doable: chairs and tables were placed side by side such that narrow walk spaces forced you to walk next people sitting in chairs. My family is upset that my elderly, immune-compromised father was unnecessarily exposed to a risky, uncontrolled environment for no reason at all. The doctor and his staff do not appear to take the well-being of their patients seriously during covid-19 times. We will not be coming back to this office nor can we recommend this doctor.

Dr. Danawala saw me quickly when 10 other doctors could not, to treat me for a very large kidney stone and kidney infection. He was very prompt, polite, knowledgeable, and willing to discuss any questions or topics I had. His answers were to the point, straightforward, and easy to understand. He and his office were very flexible to schedule procedures to fix my issues, and he did a great job in assisting me to heal from a very difficult physical issue. I was very lucky to find a great doctor, who will now be my urologist on an annual basis.
