Dr. Erika Boroff, MD

Terrible experience with those physician. She is curt. Abrupt. No empathy. No bedside manner. I felt rushed and not heard. I waited months to see her. Big mistake. I'm so disappointed and absolutely traumatized.

I saw her at the end of March and she recommended an endoscopy. It is now August 6 and I have still not heard from the scheduling department. I have called several times and they never called back to schedule. Diane gave me her number and I have called her and she said she would look into it and I’ve never heard back from her either.

I went in for a screening colonoscopy. It was my first, so I was nervous. Dr. Boroff came in with a warm blanket and wrapped it around me. That instantly made me feel better. She even adjusted my pillow to make sure that I was comfortable. What a kind thing to do! She has a wonderful bedside manner and a calming demeanor. I was very happy with my experience.

She never followed up and her assistant, Diana, was extremely rude and lacked compassion.

Dr Boroff and her staff are the best! Her bedside manners, caring demeanor & medical team are all super - they totally put me at ease from start to finish. I’m grateful for outstanding medical providers like Dr Boroff and highly recommend her!

This was my first visit with Dr. Boroff and I was very impressed with the front staff's efficiency and friendliness. Dr. Boroff was very personable and asked detailed questions about the gastric changes I was experiencing. She took the time to diagram what a normal gastric system looks like and how mine is different due to an extreme surgery. I was very impressed with her care and concern for my condition and her expertise in addressing the next steps to be taken to resolve it.

Dr. Boroff was amazing to me when I was seen at Mayo, Scottsdale. I did not know what I had had but she diagnosed a condition that is rarely found. She told my husband and I, 72 people had ever been treated for what I have. Lichen Planus of the Esophagus, motility weekness, and a couple of other things including the acid reflux severity that was previously diagnosed. She educated me throughout our interaction. We really appreciated her kindness. Its been about 4 years and with her help, I have maintained and found ways to eat that would not make it any worse than it is. Thank you Dr. Boroff, I will never forget you.

Colonoscopy was very excellent for my wife and myself... Her diagnosis was invaluable in helping us with the extreme care we needed. All of her staff was excellent as well in support in both instances.

In 2016 I was referred to Dr. Boroff and consulted with Dr. Boroff for a routine colonoscopy. This routine procedure turned into the worst billing issue with her and Honor Health I have ever experienced. She was untruthful in her billing codes and would not correct them. Dr. Boroff took the procedure from screening to diagnostic WHILE I WAS UNDER ANESTHESIA. Fortunately the billing department at Honor Health realized the mistake in billing the issue and became my advocate. Lesson learned.

I was very pleased with Dr Boroff from the initial visit to my colonoscopy. It’s always hard to find a new doctor and my experience was good. I would recommend her to anyone.

Met Dr Boroff today for the first time and I’m very impressed. She was attentive, pleasant to talk with and quite personable. She did not talk ‘down’ to me and listened to everything I said without interrupting me mid-sentence. She understood all of my conditions and addressed them with caring providing vital information. I very much look forward to a long professional relationship with her.

This is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. She is very thorough and explains everything clearly. I have been seeing doctors for years with stomach issues and she is the first one to explain to me how to resolve them. I am so thankful to her and so happy I am no longer in pain.

For no other reason than she has terrible bedside manner and her inability to provide the correct coding for a colonoscopy I would NEVER enlist Dr. Boroff for any medical procedure. Unless of course you prefer to fight with insurance coding for 6 months.

Not a reflection on Dr. Boroff but I called regarding medication question for ongoing stomach issues. Dr Boroff is out of town so I was told I would get a response from on call doctor. I called Monday and it is now Wednesday and I still have not gotten a response. I even called Monday afternoon but no response. I eventually called a family member who is a physician and got information I needed. I am very upset about this.

PT been having debilitating stomach pain and Gastro issues for more than 2 years, been in the hospital 5 times due to complications,pain and infection-still never able to get diagnosis, so referred to mayo -whereshe proceeds to tell patient they'r making symptoms up-and attention seeking/delusional as their chart indicated they have never even had a fever etc. except all charts clearly show serious infections and illness ongoing for 2+yrs. all because client admitted to medical marijuana use..
