I have been seeing Dr. Boh for years, always with excellent attention and results. However, in recent years she primarily relies on Interns and Residents to conduct skin checks and make recommendations for treatment. Time spent with her is minimal. A disfiguring basal cell carcinoma on my face was overlooked for close to 2 years. allowing the cancer to grow much larger before finally being removed.

I began seeing Dr Boh after other dermatologists failed. She was hard to get into. Late for appointments. Relied on interns for a full work up. I had ridden hours to see her. Often canceling while you were at the office. Tulane is a teaching hospital. When the patient is to sick to be alone, it’s time for the Dr/teacher to step in. Diagnosis, then teach the students. Medical students are not the specialists. If Dr Boh is unable, too busy or too important to treat a patient then she should stop. Permanently. She didn’t even notice the staph infection I developed. I never felt I was important enough to be treated. The interns didn’t have the answers, and Dr Boh couldn’t make time.

Dr. Boh is standoff-ish and cold. When discussing my diagnosis she, and how unhappy she was with my previous dermatologist's work, she took her anger out on me in the office and treated me with 0 respect. If you are going to have your residents do all your work for you, you should at least be pleasant when speaking to patients. Some of the worst bed-side manner I have ever seen from a non-surgeon.

Dr. Boh creates a caustic environment in her office. Go somewhere else.

I'm at high risk for melanoma and made an appointment when I found a concerning mark on my skin. I go in every 6-12 months for skin checks too. I waited 1.5 hours in my paper gown and never saw Dr. Boh. I repeatedly asked a resident for an update on timing and he was unable to give it. I left unchecked and was never called to reschedule or apologize for the disrespectful treatment. AND I've been charged a copay. Despicable.

I wish I can give her zero star. Yes, she is friendly. But not helpful at all!!! First of all, the medicine is useless. Second, she promised to make appointment for us for some exam at the other hospital, but she did not. We waste a whole morning and have to pay for the copay to see her again, only for asking her to make that appointment. She promised again but did not do it! Stay away from her!!!

Dr. Boh goes over and beyond any physician I've ever known. She is very highly regarded by her colleagues. I'm extremely pleased with her commitment to my complex situation. She has demonstrated that she is compassionate and caring of her patients. She has qualities of an outstanding physician that should be in every physician.
