Dr. Elwazir is wonderful. He is patient, compassionate, respectful, approachable, positive, thorough, knowledgeable, explains everything clearly, and never rushes through an appointment. He promptly follows up after procedures and diagnostic testing. The office staff and nurses are wonderful and show the same type respect and attention. For years I have confidently placed myself in his care.

I was hospitalized with small bowel obstruction and after my discharge, needed to follow up appointment ASAP with a gastroenterologist. It was a horrible experience to schedule an appointment promptly. Dr Elwazir gave us the appointment as soon as he could. I was very worried about the diagnosis, diet, further workup and prognosis. When we met him we found him to be extremely professional, he listened to me patiently, explained the nature of the problem, diet, imaging studies and need for follow up, very well and answered all my questions.Dr.Elwazir office staff were all caring and compassionate. I would highly recommend him.

Most of us don’t know a gastroenterologist until we need one. I was fortunate enough to be referred to Dr. Elwazir by my PCP for a routine colonoscopy. I found this this unplanned encounter to be most fortunate. Dr. Elwazir made a rather dreaded experience as relaxed as humanly possibl. While not being something I would like to do again in the near futore, , Dr. Elwazir, and staff, put me at ease and exuded the kindness, confidence and wisdom of a doctor who, from years of experience, knew exactly what a patient’s (and spouse’s) concerns, anxieties and questions will be. He provided easy to understand answers, examples and reassurance that was greatly needed, and appreciated.If you have gastroenterological issues, I give Dr. Elwazir my highest recommendation.

He is an up front type of Dr. who tells you everything you need to know. Has great bedside manners. I would recommend him to anyone that needs help in his field.

If it’s time for your colonoscopy, the best way to have it is from Dr Elwazir at TDDC. He and his staff are efficient, capable, and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Dr Elwazir.

Yes, he spent all the time I needed with me. He was very patient and thoughtful. I needed to have a procedure done and he got me worked in so it could be done. I showed up early to the appointment and he took me in early. It was very refreshing to actually not have to wait a in a doctors office for my appointment!

Complete medic phobic here . 1st upper & lower GI. Dr Elwazir is confident , informative & has a great bedside manner explaining details . It is great /rare when you find a top notch Dr that also has a kind reassuring bedside manner and is willing to take the time to explain procedures . The only small glitch I’ve had (& is not his office staff’s fault ) is getting approval & insurance issues . Staff has been very kind helping to continue to sort through this .
