Dr. Fahad Javed, MD

I was on vacation on South Padre Island, and suffered a heart attack on August 30th, 2020. I was taken to the hospital in Brownsville where I was fortunate to be connected to Dr. Javed. I suffered 4 cardiac arrests during my hospital stay. Dr. Javed was kind, caring, patient, and of great comfort to me at the time. This was during the height of Covid, and all of my caretakers were masked. Until today, I have never seen what Dr. Javed looks like. I was told that less than 8% of patients survive the things I endured. I am truly a walking miracle, and I am so grateful to my Lord and the talents of Dr. Javed.I should add, that everyone at the hospital was so good to me.I think of you often Dr. Javed. He did my second operation. My first one 6 years ago at Houston Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Javed is a class performer, and most of all, excellent specialist. I met Dr. Javed under emergency conditions in a hospital. My total overall experience was A+.

Came for a second opinion - best decision I made. Respect and prayers for him. Very humble and personally examined me. Answered all my questions. Had to wait some time as he was in a surgery but I am very satisfied. Highly recommended!

Dr. Javed is a such a wonderful heart doctor. He is awsome and very intelligent. So relaxed to find him and happy with his care and compassion. My operation was huge success even when others said it’s very difficult. Highly recommend him to every one.

I was operated on by Dr. David A. Ladden MD with Valley Cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. Dr Fahad was part of team at valley regional. although my visits were mainly with Dr.Ladden The whole Organization and Care I was given was 5 Diamond. Surgery was close to Miraculous and Nurses and Doctors all went the extra mile to make Things go smoothly without any problems usually encountered when dealing with Doctors and Hospitals. Everyone was Professional and clearly explained things in easy to understand common sense understandable terms. Prescriptions and changes in Medications were always easy to follow as Both Doctors and Nurses showed Patience and made sure we understood Directions and doses. When we had a question they promptly called us back with answers in a timely manner. Doctors took their time in Office Visits and were genuinely interested in our wellness and familiar with results from tests etc. I am Thankful for knowing that they are there for me if a problem arises.

Excellent knowledge of my health status and superb cardiology knowledge base. Excellent people skills with very informed and caring interaction. One of the best physicians I have ever had. Very upbeat and familiar with advanced techniques. I was told that I got to go to Edinburg or St Antonio for my condition - was a pleasant surprise that Dr Javed offered it at Valley. Thumbs up. Superb cardiologist. Expert in heart valve disease and heart failure. Took care of my mom and sat down explaining everything to us for half an hour. So humane and humble. I can tell he knows a lot. We changed our care to him permanently. My mom is so happy that she be getting off blood thinners thanks to him. We love him !

It felt like the first time a Doctor ever really listened to what I was expressing, and everything I mentioned was addressed. Did not shut me off. Dr Javed and his staff was very attentive and knowledgeable, from the moment I walked into his clinic to the moment I left. I am extremely thankful that I was able to find Dr. Javed. Caught blockage in my heart artery and cleaned it with a stent. Gave me a well delayed pacemaker. I feel like I have restarted living again. Follow up is amazing. I feel I am in safe hands now. What a blessing here for us now!
