Dr. Falguni Vasa, MD

I have a sensitivity to levothyroxine and she literally said it’s not possible and that I need to take it anyway. She basically told me to come back when I would take the medicine that makes me feel miserable. So I will not be going back., and will definitely not recommend to anyone.

Dr. Vasa came to a diagnosis (different than 3 other drs. over the years) 5 minutes into the visit and from then on forward did not care about anything else I had to say. Ran tests that were not necessary. Felt as if she just wanted to rush through the visit to get to the next patient. Never followed up regarding test results. I checked the after visit summary and she incorrectly filled in things during the visit that is now part of my permanent medical record. This is causing me to jump through all kinds of hoops to get corrected. DPMG has not been much help to address the situation.

Dr. Vasa and her team have been great! When she viewed my chart for the first time, she acted on the information very quickly with great concern. Any time that my levels are off, she is quick to respond with my best options. I understand that my case isn't as easy as take a couple of Tylenol and rest... I have a real situation that takes time to even out. She has shown that she is with me every step of the way. She is polite, knowledgeable, and consistent with her friendly demeanor.

She had my labs for 6 weeks before her office called me with a "worse than chronic case" of Graves' disease and I should be seen right away. She was attentive initially but as symptoms (anxiety, shaking, not sleeping for days at a time, etc.), she'd say "That's what Graves does". My life did not have to be as miserable as she was willing to settle for.

Dr Vasa is nothing less than professional and in a word awesome. She takes the times to explain, is trustworthy and helpful. She cares... what more can you ask from a physician. I have referred her many times and everyone I know who has seen her loves her.

I will not recommend Dr. Vasa. She almost killed me by failing treat hormone problems and providing only a partial treatment in two occasions. She failed to see the complete picture even though I had mentioned multiple times about the symptoms. I should not give her any star, but I had to unfortunately.
