Dr. Farhat Mehmood, MD

COVID made my appts required to be by FaceTime, but I have been very impressed by his thoroughness in reviewing my records prior to seeing me and the time he spent talking with me and my daughter both before and after my cardiac ablation. I did not feel like a new patient but rather like someone he had been seeing for quite some time. Not only was he very attentive to me and my questions, but his staff also. There was always a call back if I left a message. He did the necessary tests before the procedure to determine my needs and made certain that my allergy to IV dye was covered by giving me the necessary medications to take prior to the xrays and the procedure and made sure I stopped my blood thinner a few days before the procedure. He showed me the tests results, explained the procedure and expected results and possible complications, recovery time and length of time that I may still experience some AFIB. I felt totally protected and at ease with having the procedure.

As always the care, consideration and knowledge of the staff is exceptional, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this office to anyone needing an excellent heart doctor or need to transfer from a different doctor. The Office staff are as good as the Doctors.

Dr Mehmood done a internal echo and put in a looper recorder August 26 of 2019. Have had no problem thus far.

Dr Mehmood took time to completely explain my heart condition and options before implanting a pacemaker. Very empathetic and professional.

Dr. Mehmood and his staff are kind, considerate, compassionate, and highly professional. Dr. Mehmood is a highly trained and skilled cardiologist in his field of cardiac electrophysiology. He also takes time to listen to you and discuss and explain your cardiac problems along with any tests, monitoring, or treatment he may recommend. I have never left his office with any unanswered questions or issues that had not been addressed or feeling that he did not spend an adequate amount of time with me. I highly recommend Dr. Mehmood to anyone who may be experiencing any irregular heart rhythm issues.

The usual courteous, timely service. Dr. Mehmood patiently explained, again, why I need Eliquis even though I didn't want to stop taking it. I also saw a device tech in the hall and he answered my questions about my monitor.

This was my first visit to see Dr. Mehmood. He was very pleasant and comforting with his diagnosis and the treatment needed for me. I will be seeing him again for surgery. Maria, Marie, and Abby were helpful in getting me registered and settled for the visit and follow up surgery.

Dr. Mehmood has been treating my father for several years. He is a phenomenal physician. He genuinely cares and listens to us. He explains everything clearly so we understand the tests, results, and prognosis. We've had nothing but excellent service from his entire office staff, from Marci at check-in, Krysten and Deena during his clinical visit, and Abby at check-out. I appreciate everything they all do to help care for my father.

I've been seeing Dr. Mehmood since 2004 when he performed my heart ablation. Dr. Mehmood is friendly and personable and above all very thorough in reviewing my heart health. It has been 5 years since my ablation and I have not had an AFIB event since and I attribute that to the skill of Dr. Mehmoon and his team.

I'm getting to get some extra years on earth due to Dr Mehmood. Hard to speak any more highly of the man than that. He is a good doctor and has a good staff. They were able to get me in earlier than expected which certainly helped me with my health problems. I'll continue to use them.
