Not Happy.
I visited Dr Fakouri in April 2024. I have spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, bone spurs among other things and can barely walk most days due to the pain. The first thing Dr Fakhri said to me when he stepped in to the room was I don't think I can help you which caught me off guard. He said he was going to order another MRI in which would include my neck as well as the lower spine. An MRI of the neck was never done. I got a phone call from his office stating the results were sent to my ENT. I'm at a loss of what to do next I was told he was one of the best.

Excellent.
After 19 years of pain and multiple chiropractors and epidurals I found Dr. Fakhoury. He was kind made me feel at ease about the procedure and did a wonderful job and made the pain that I had felt for so long go away. Absolutely outstanding staff, Amber and Andrea, and great customer service. Dr. Fakhoury did a very long invasive surgery on my lower back. I was pain-free within a couple of weeks and not once did I have any blood or seepage from the wounds. I highly recommend Dr. Fakhoury.

Was referred to Dr Fakhoury by my orthopedic physician when I began having terrible uncontrolled pain, weakness, and numbness in my lower back and right leg after an injury I received. Was able to be seen the very next day, him and his staff were extremely courteous, professional, and caring. He explained the options available to me after reviewing my MRI. We opted for surgery (lamenectomy and discectomy) involving the L3-4/L4-5 of my spine. Aside from some pain the first few days after surgery the difference was amazing. If I need any more work down the line he would definitely be the first person I would confer with. Honestly I was nervous to have surgery after hearing "My cousin's wifes brother had a horrible experience with it" type stories most of my life about how spine surgery is awful. Id definitely do it all over again and I highly recommend it, its given me back a better quality of life. Thanks Dr Fakhoury and staff!

Returning Patient from 8-9 years ago. Ruptured cervical disc was identified and treated by Dr. Fakhoury. Artificial disc was the magic. Sincere thanks as that went well. Dr. F’s Staff are premium excellent! . ( trust me! It’s important). So....Next week I’m on the schedule to repair a ancient 30 year old fusion that’s gone south. I have every confidence I will receive the best care available. I will follow up post op. Stay tuned!

I was experiencing the worst pain of my life, numbness/worsening weakness in my left leg down to my foot. It turns out I had a badly bulging disc pressing on my sciatic nerve. I quickly went from riding horses/ working out to unbearable pain/barely able to walk within weeks. Dr Fakhoury presented options and emergency plan if my conditions worsened. While scared to have a surgery at the time, I am so glad I did. I was so impressed how everyone from Dr. F, his entire team & Wellington Regional handled everything. I am now 1 month since my laminectomy and am pain-free. It was amazing how immediate the pain relief was and I was up and walking on day 1. Now, 4 weeks later, my numbness has gone away and strength returning. Surgery with Dr Fakhoury was the best thing I ever could have done. Everyone in his office was so responsive. They treat patients with such care and kindness. They made me feel comfortable asking any questions and calling before/after my surgery. I am very grateful.

On February 19, 2020 I had minimally invasive surgery, L 3-4 laminectomy and microdiscectomy with posterlateral fusion. Until I had this surgery I had chronic pain in my right leg that I lived with for close to two years. I put off seeing Any Doctor because of fear of surgery. Today I am totally pain free! I cannot thank Dr. Fakhoury enough for giving me back my quality of life. He explained everything to me and gave me time to make my decision about having surgery. His staff made the whole process smooth. Dr. Fakhoury is an amazing surgeon.

I had spinal fusion surgery in 2007 but unfortunately the pain in my lower back and legs had steadily increased. After meeting Dr. Fakhoury I found both him and his office staff to be informative and reassuring. Dr. Fakhoury assured me that he could help me with spine revision surgery. I’m 10 weeks post-op and feeling so much better . My spine is no longer distorted and the pain is gone. Dr. Fakhoury is a gifted surgeon who gave me back my quality of life.

Dr. Fakhoury is a highly skilled surgeon. I had spinal stenosis so bad that I could hardly walk 100 yards without level 8 pain. Three weeks after my surgery (L4-5 laminectomy with fusion) I was completely pain free. I have my quality of life back, thanks to Dr. Fakhoury.

My 54 yr old husb was having vision problems (papilledema) & Opthalmalogist Caceras referred him for testing at Wellington Regional Med Ctr for Lumbar Puncture/Angiogram tests due to suspected optic nerve swelling. It was determined he had extremely high Cerebrospinal fluid causing pressure on brain/optic nerve leading to blindness/death/hemorrhage etc. Dr Fakhoury sucessfully performed a VP Brain shunt surgery & is healing succesfully, surprisingly without any pain! I highly recommend Fakhoury!

Imagine a stabbing pain in your neck that radiates down the right side of your face… shoulder… arm… and ends in your fingers… I lived with that intense pain for over two years… The pain changed my life… no golf… very little sleep… when I did sleep it was in a chair… Attempting to remedy the problem… I went to physical therapy… had a series of epidural injections… nothing brought relief and in short… my life was miserable… Dr Faris Fakourhy was recommended to me by a physician and family friend

Be very careful my cervical surgery was done without the screws and plate. Its been over 3 years and i have suffered excrutiating pain. It appears the bones have not fused. I am having to have several procedures in an effort to avoid a second surgery, which by the way is common. My primary contacted Dr. Fakhourys office concerning this and was not even given the courtesy of a return phone call. So govern yourself accordingly. My roommate had a different surgeon and has no trouble at all.

I went to Dr. Fakhoury with severe lower back pain. I had 2 herniated discs in my L4/5 lumbar region. This pain affected my quality of life. He was the third Doctor I saw, and the first one I really liked. He listened to me, really listened. I decided to have the surgery and it was the best decision I ever made. He performed a minimally invasive transformational lumbar inter body fusion, and performed it very successfully. Here I am a year later, completely pain free!
