Very bad
What visit ? Petriziello is a CONCIERGE doctor. The kind you have to pay upfront to become an “elite” patient, part of a club so to say. Otherwise you only see APRN even for surgery preapprovals. My brother who is a complicated medical case has only ever seen a Nurse even though Petriziello is listed as his PCP. He has no computer or iPhone, so don’t give me the telehealth option. Petriziello is only interested in his “elite” patients.

I was FIRED today by Fausto Petruzziello, MD because he decided he will only see patients that have joined his Care-Medica Elite program and have paid the applicable membership fees. I was a patient of his for almost 30 years and a patient of the practice since 1959. I arrived for my annual physical and was told that he will no long be treating me. I guess I must not be Elite enough, or even human enough, to be appraised of the changes, in time to make other arrangements. A very spiffy young woman with bushy eyebrows came over from the Elite Side to inform me that he could treat whomever he wants to. I shall not comment on the business practices because I would not consider having a physician that could even consider pulling a stunt like that with any patient, let alone a chronically ill patient.

On the last three occasions, my appointment was cancelled the day prior to my appointment. These appointments were for annual physicals and were scheduled months in advance. On the most recent occassion, I was told when I arrived that the doctor had an emergency. They never bothered to call. They just assumed I would see someone else for my annual physicsl. Although Dr. P. is an outstanding physician, it is because of his office staff that I am going elsewhere.

Rushed- Disorganized- doesn't seem to review patient files prior to exam. Doesn't return phone calls- Office staff very casual and unprofessional, treats patients like an interruption of their time. Phone calls from ten to twenty minute wait. Poor or NO follow up. Poor to no communication with specialist upon referral...
