Horrible office, terrible doctor. I am on Medicare and Blue Cross and they were yelling at me that I owe them money. The Doctor spends 5 minutes with you and comes in totally unprepared to talk to the patient. Doesn't know or care about your history. Doesn't take the time to talk to you. The office staff was so rude yelling at me I owe them money .My insurance is the best and I have no out of pocket payment. Obviously she doesn't want Medicare patients which they should tell you. I called Blue cross to see what happened. The agent called the office and they told her that I don't owe anything, but they haven't filed the claim. Blue Cross asked if I had anything in writing or verbal. I had never received a bill. If I had, Blue Cross would pay it. I could go on but there is not enough time.. This is not a doctor that I would want to be responsible for my care...

I've never found a Dr so untrustworthy
The following are our family's experiences over the past several years:The office transposed dates incorrectly on FL vaccination forms. The Dr stated she had never seen that child the year prior with the vaccine form issues. She stated she does not keep records.Similar to other reviews everything is an upcharge.I paid for an in office blood draw and a Vitamin B shot. The gave me the shot and then drew blood from that same arm. The bloodwork reflected that process. The upgraded Vitamin B shot gave me a reaction which I called and told her about. She later denied the knowledge.Told that I must schedule and pay for an appointment to discuss a billing issue. She locked me out of my online account so I could not access my own medical history. She does not do same day sick visits. The snarky office staff is not trustworthy which means she's probably not either.I'm sure there is more but I'm out of space.

Front desk girl was beyond rude. This was annual physical and she was refusing to see me because I already had extensive blood work from my endocrinologist because she wants to charge you for the blood work. Next I’ve never seen her before and she doesn’t ask any history on me and refused to give me an EKG which is included with my annual physical She said I don’t have high BP so it wasn’t needed. I’m 60 years old and try to be preventative. She’s all about the $. First and last visit. I’m a medical professional and I am stunned she is a licensed Dr.

Dr Winkelman is the best
The office staff were very friendly and helpful . Dr Winkelman took time to explain things to me and went over with me how we will tackle my high cholesterol she was very patient with me and answered all my questions . I am relatively new to Florida so it feels good to feel taken care of here in an environment that is new to me .

What is the most caring physicians?
Dr. Winkleman is a holistic doctor that cares about the whole body. I came in for laser treatment on my face. She discussed what is safe for a type one diabetic, and I went along with what she said should be done, and she of course was right. While I was there, she discussed what I needed get to stretch my calf muscles as I currently have plantar fasciitis. Once again, she was right! She was also the doctor that finally talked me into taking cholesterol medication and I needed it. I was afraid to take it but she took the time to explain to me the safety of the medication and her concerns if I did not take it. A Doctor Who finally got through to me. I don’t like taking blood at Quest . It makes me anxious and I can have it done there. She’s a 35 minute ride from my home and I take that ride! I know one thing she will do what’s right for me. I find the staff fun and always willing to assist. I cannot thank this office enough for the warmth and consideration of the client.

Horrible "Doctor"
It was so blatant that Fawn could not care less about her patients or their care considering she spent at most 3 minutes with me for my first time visit and an annual physical. I have never felt less heard or significant. She did not ask anything about my medical history nor for my prior medical records. She charged extra fr blood work but then woukd not test for specific things I have been tracking for years despite my request. I have heard that if you come in for aesthetics, which she charges a fortune for, she will spend more time with you. How this person has a license to practice medicine is beyond me!

Would not recommend
Used this PCP because I was limited with my insurance. Will charge you for whatever she can. Once I asked for a 2-pill script to be called in that I use when I fly. The doc said I needed to come in for a visit ($$$). I have had it called in by other physicians with no problem. Recently she refused to write a script for meds needed daily because she insisted I get labs which I had done 6 months before. Everything was normal then except cholesterol was borderline. This med does NOT cause cholesterol elevations and she knows it but insisted I have labs. Then I would have to do a call conference with her ($$$). I told her I was out of town but noone cared. I had to find another doctor. She's out for the money. Don't use her.

It's a shame that the front receptionist Linda is so wildly unprofessional, rude, and condescending. Wouldn't you want to be welcomed to a doctor's office? Wouldn't you want your patients to be treated with the upmost respect on the phones? I have a denied claim issues from 2020 with this office and have the Insurance and Lab Co. advising it's due to missing paperwork from this office and doctor. Linda and Dr. Winkleman refuse to help me so I'm stuck with a $2,557+ bill for bloodwork to see if I had genetics for Cancer. I cannot believe the non compassion I've been met with by this office the past several weeks trying to work through this denied claim debacle. It's a horrendously disturbing way to treat your patients.

I am a new patient, just moved to Florida. She came highly rated. Waited 30 minutes for an 11am appointment while fasting and it was the quickest checkup that I have ever had. I asked if she wanted my medical records and she declined. I paid out of pocket as she doesn't accept my insurance and in order to speak to her about my blood results, I was going to be charged for a telecall to discuss my results. I have never dealt with a dr. that has shown such disregard for a patient. Extremely disappointed in this process.
