Dr. Firoozeh Shahidi, MD

Dr. Shahidi is always thorough in her visits, spending ample time with patients to ensure they receive a thorough review of their situation and instructions. She is unbelievably expert in a wide range of medical areas, and has established a strong network of peer experts if a referral is necessary. She is a strong advocate on behalf of her patients and truly cares about their health. On the several times I have needed an emergency appointment on no notice, I have been accommodated. I can recommend her without reservation.

Dr. Shahidi is very nice and compassionate. She does a full physical the first time she sees you, and is attentive to your needs. My appointment was at 9 am but didn't get called until after 9:30 am. I got blood drawn at the doctor's office and when I needed to get a biopsy schedule Dr. Shahidi was aware or concerned of which office my insurance would take. I appreciated that.

I waited more than 3 hours after my appointment time for scheduled blood tests, and then had to leave for work without seeing the doctor. I was very unhappy with the service, so I did not reschedule. Months later, I received a bill for all of the tests that were scheduled but never performed. I checked with my insurance provider, and they were also charged for the full amount for the Dr's office visit, and all of the tests. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Shahidi who is our primary care doctor for 25+ years. We have and have had many doctors and she is the best internist we have ever had. She is a brilliant diagnostician and compassionate person. She is a very good listener and is never rushed. When we get sick, she often sees us the day we call. She is concerned about the whole person, not just the presenting problem. She recommends specialists when we need one.
