Dr. Florence Spitler, DO

Doc takes time to LISTEN to you! She is always spot on with diagnosis and treatment. She has been my PCP for several years. I love the care we get from her. The only thing is she is always busy and booked out.

Very professional and down to earth. She doesn't rush or make you feel like you are less than because you have questions

I appreciate that I am taken to an exam room quickly after arriving and have never hasty wait for the nurses or doctor to come in. Once in the room, I never feel rushed by Dr. Spitler; she’s always willing sit and talk with me.

Maybe we just won't share her greatness with others so we can keep her for ourselves. =)

It was a general annual exam, and my first time meeting Dr Spitler. I chose her because she's a D.O. and I wanted a physician who is interested in holistic health (beyond what's normally taught in traditional medical schools). Dr Spitler was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. She thoughtfully answered all my questions. I'm very glad I chose her! Dr Spitler's nurse Tanya is also very responsive and helpful!

Dr. Spitler has been my pcp for many years, I have full confidence in her knowledge, she is compassionate, caring, thorough, never rushes me. Among the best physicians I've ever been fortunate enough to know.

I love this clinic and especially Dr. Spitler!! I found her by accident when I first moved to Georgetown just because she was in my insurance network. So glad I did! The wait is never very long when you go for an appt and she really takes her time and listens to you if you are concerned about something in particular. I highly recommend Dr. Florence Spitler if you are in need of a family practitioner. AND, my husband likes her so much he switched over to her when he had to find a new doctor.

I had a concern that I might be developing cancer so I setup an appointment with Dr. Spitler to get it checked out. Dr. Spitler has been my family doctor for over 10 years so I trust her opinion and guidance. She listened to my concern, did a thorough exam and didn’t rush the exam. She suspected my cancer concerns were caused by a drug that I am taking. This was confirmed through blood work and an Ultra Sound exam. I’m very appreciative of Dr Spitler and very glad that she was able to calm my cancer concerns

In all the years of having various doctors, I find that Dr. Spitler is the best I have ever had. She is intelligent, very through, professional but very caring. She has become our family doctor, caring for my mother, sister, brother-in-law, daughter wife and myself. She is the best of the best.

I think Dr. Spitler is great and have absolute confidence that every medical problem I have is correctly solved and every prescription prescribed will solution my problem as they have in the past. She is very prompt answering questions and doing refills on My Portal

I saw DR Spitler about a concern about my breasts. She made me feel relaxed and gave me good advice about follow up and what to do. She is always professional and knowledgeable at our visits. She treats me with the utmost respect. I feel lucky to have her as my primary doctor.

Dr. Spitler and her associate were very kind and thorough during my physical. I appreciate that she talked me through several concerns. The office procedures were well thought out as well and I felt that my health was protected throughout the time I was there.

Dr. Spitler is a very caring, compassionate, and, dedicated doctor. She listens and to the best of her ability she tries to solve the issues that you are having . I have not found a doctor that goes above and beyond like her.

I have gone to Dr. Spitler for about 10 years and she is wonderful. She spends time listening to your needs and throughly takes care of your needs. I liked her so much I took my husband and mother to her. I have been a nurse for almost 40 years and have known many doctors of which Dr. Spitler is one of the finest.
