All went well. Got pain relief with injections between L5&S1. Good explanation that it does not fix the problem but will give relief from pain for an undeterminable amount of time. Dr. McGehee was cordial, concerned and very meticulous. NP Brenda and Nurse Tina were a pleasure to deal with as well as the front office staff, Flora and the others. Jack 4/13/2019 Midland

Dr. McGehee was very good, and if I could have seen him instead of his Nurse Practitioner, I'd still be his patient. She was condescending, argumentative, and unwilling to listen to me. She made judgments that she had no business making and that contradicted a neurologist, a neurosurgeon, and an internist. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. The nurse lacked information that anyone working in a pain management practice should have known. I asked her a simple question that she was apparently unable to answer, so she became belligerent instead. I found the answer on my own in about five minutes. (Someone should tell her that Google is her friend.)

Was referred to this office by my nurse practitioner. The office staff was very rude over the phone and the office staff not the doctor was telling me what they could and couldn’t do for me before I had even walked threw the door. I got pain shots in my back which gave me thrush so bad it felt like I ate lava. When I called them to inquire about the issues I was having I wasn’t listened to and they scheduled me for more shots. Dismissed me they already got my money that’s all they care about

Performed 3 procedures, assuring each time that relief would be felt. Seemed frustrated with his patient that relief wasn't reported. Called us in for an appointment, at which a nurse simply told us the patient would be referred to a surgeon. then left. That's it. No doctor! no discussion! . . . just another appointment to be paid for, instead of a phone call. An entirely useless waste of time, and an abuse of power by this doctor, requiring us to come in.

My pain doctor was retiring and called and they said the were taking new patients, left them my med records and was reassured they be getting back. After many calls over a 4 month period was told that they was not taking patients, and found out they just put my medical records in a desk drawer and forgot about them, now I'm scrambling trying to find a pain doctor to see me which is very hard for me cause I have no insurance and on disability. I am a nervous wreak, you doctors forgottn ur oaths!

Horrible experience. Wasted thousands of dollars and no relief. Then called the office to specifically make an appointment with Dr. McGehee. Was charged another $225 and didn't see him as promised. Saw a nurse for 10 minutes or less to push the original procedure that didn't work on me again (more thousands), Then she suggested an injection which the Dr. told me specifically wouldn't work. Basically they just want $. They then would not prescribe meds at all. AVOID!

This physician and his staff were very disappointing. The execution of my treatment plan ran a foul. Every step of the way the staff dropped the ball. I felt like I had to manage the staff in order to receive quality care. My experience here was very unpleasant and unsuccessful, for the few months I received care.

I Sat in examination room for 45minutes before seeing the doctor. He had notes from my spine specialist to do shots ASAP and 3 weeks later I have not been scheduled for my procedure. I called his office to see why I have not been scheduled yet and his staff was rude and unprofessional over the phone. He also contradicted what my spine specialist told me I was able to do after the injections. He also never went over any details about the procedure.
