Very thorough and takes the time to listen. As a former medical professional myself, I wish that physicians were more like him in terms of listening and working with patients. Wait times can sometimes be excessive, but I know that he his listening and working with another patient. Now that I know that, I just plan on being there for an extended period of time and bring something to do during the wait time. He is down to earth and explains things at the level his patients can understand.

Dr Perrino is by far the best physician I have ever seen. He takes time to listen to you and thoroughly evaluate your condition. I leaves no stone unturned in the quest to help you. He takes into consideration all aspects of your life that may negatively impact your health. He spends more than enough time with each patient which is why he's typically late in seeing you. He's definitely worth the wait. Outstanding, competent, thorough physician with a long wait and a lot of integrity.

The wait in his office makes for an all day event. He does not dress appropriately for an M.D. The staff is not on top of things. Doesn't return phone calls. Have a new sleep doctor who is much more professional in the way his office runs. New doctor is trying to cure my sleep issues instead of just refilling scrips.

I have struggled for years with fibro and sleep issues. (You may have issues with his appointment wait times.Maybe up to 3 hours past your appt.) I assure you he will take 1hr+ with you trying to find a solution to your problem. He is dedicated and goes way beyond what other doctors would do. He listens and he educates you as well. I come from out of town so if my appointment is at 10am we know it will be an afternoon appointment. Call office @ apt time, they will let you know when to come in!!

One of the few real doctors that takes time to get all the right information and nail the diagnosis that many other specialists missed. Yes, there can be a long wait, however from the other patients I met while waiting, they said he is the only doctor they would wait for (and some packed lunches to be prepared.) The wait time has gotten better. Many (including myself,) have had Dr. Perrino save their life or the life of a loved one. He has a great disposition and an outstanding brilliant mind!

Appts hard to get & like others commenting here it is ALWAYS an entire day shot. Only gives Rx refills with an office visit, won't call in or give refills even for meds you may have been on for months or years. Staff does not always follow up with mailings for tests or 90 day mail order fills (he won't give refills for these either.) Now I make appointment, show up on time, leave & have them call me when he is close to being ready to see me but then there is still a long wait time to see him!

He's a good doctor but doesn't respect his patients time. The shortest wait I've ever had is 3 hours and have had to wait over 6 hours past my appt time to see him just to get a refill of my medicine. You have to take a whole day off work in order to see the dr.

Dr. Perrino is very nice, but every time my spouse has had an appointment, she has had to wait at least 3 hours to see him. Then, his office did not fax over the information needed for her CPAP equipment, despite several requests. I have the CPAP people calling for the needed information now. He made the seriousness of her condition very clear to us, but his office has not followed up.

I went to Dr. Perrino because he was one of the doctors in Tampa who was willing to prescribe Low Dose Naltrexone for my multiple sclerosis. He listened and prescribed it, even though he had never before used it for M.S. He diagnosed my fibromyalgia, recognized that I had narcolepsy and cataplexy, identified a thyroid anomaly and corrected my thyroid medication brand. In general, he is a bulldog who will get to the bottom of your health issues and solve them when no one else can. I reversed M.S.
