Negligent or Just Too Old to Practice
Telehealth
Dr. Soriano had a VERY simple task; review records. In writing, he provably failed to review any records submitted by the patient (me) and gave a clearly wrong opinion. Further still, he went against, which he had full access to, at least 30 other doctors opinions and failed to even address key issues. IDK if he is just way too old and should be out feeding the ducks and ready for the nursing home at 91 years old, or just completely sucks at his job. Worst of all, the office staff conducted the telephonic exam... I was shocked a receptionist was doing medical exams. He is arguably THEE WORST physician.

Questionable education-experience for VA DBQ exams
The VA hired this family doctor do a DBQ for a service connected spinal cord injury through QTC - He missed obvious medical evidence and quite frankly is too old and not qualified to examine spine cases.

Incorrect C&P
He was tasked with doing my C&P for QTC on Dec 19 2023 for my aneurysm and he put that I had DBQ ARTERY AND VEIN CONDITIONS, VASCULAR DISEASE which totally is incorrect I had a cerebral aneurysm that almost killed me and had emergency surgery which I now no longer can work full time and have memory lost. Because of his misleading DBQ my claim is now in a Deferred status and I have to do another C&P. This is why it is important to call the veteran because obviously he didn't read my file because an aneurysm is totally different from what he put in my C&P from which never spoke to me about

Should not be practicing
A year prior there was a nerve conduction study was performed by a different doctor, a neuro specialist. Neuropathy was confirmed. Dr. Soriano's VA DBQ stated "No" neuropathy. A VA C&P neuro specialist did a neuropathy DBQ the week after seeing Dr. Soriano, for a neuropathy claim, and noted there was in fact neuropathy. He should not be practicing.

Very nice people
Very nice filipino couple did my C&P at the end of January. I came in worried I would have someone rude or mean but it went completely opposite. Good experience here.

Had a VA disability exam with Dr. Soriano and was very dissatisfied. The front office staff and nurse who took my vitals were very nice and helpful. Dr. Soriano's assistant took notes and asked a number of questions but it became very disconcerting when she had to translate my answers to him. Their report to the VA involved medical items that were never even discussed. It was the worst VA disability exam I have ever experienced and don't believe LHI should continue to utilize them.

I was completely happy with my Veterans Administration disability compensation (DBQ) examination today 12MAR202. I have had three other DBQ exams with another QTC provider in VA beach and when I left my frustration level was in the red line. Military members should be somewhat use to a language barrier due to their experiences. I had no problem working through the situation. My appointment was not rushed and felt like Dr. Soriano and his assistant allowed me the time to explain my issues. The last point is the staff was extremely professional, Heather and Madison. My appointment today with Dr. Soriano coupled with the staff far exceeds the VA. Beach facility. Just my thoughts and experience
