Dr. Fred Chu, MD

Dr. Chu is very though with his examines. He also explains everything very thoroughly. He always asked if you have any questions. Excellent Phyician. Also, he has excellent staff working with him. I would not go anywhere else for my Glaucoma.

Dr Chu always takes to one to look over m to current condition an do recommends the best actions to take. He is attentive and aware of my health and advised the best actions for me.

He treated me with narrow angel & glaucoma, and so happy with his treatment. Really he’s a professional.

Went to see Dr. Chu as there was suspicion of glaucoma in one eye, which, thankfully, turned out to be benign. Dr Chu & the attending staff were absolutely fantastic in explaining everything they were doing in friendly yet professional manner.

Not someone that I would trust with my eyes. Towards me , I found him to be uncaring , unsympathetic and in my opinion uneducated. I experienced severe pain for 3 months , going back to see him once sometimes twice a week , he never had a answer why. He was only concerned about doing a laser surgery on my eyes . He said I had narrow angle glaucoma, witch I do have , but after visiting other doctors found it wasn’t serious enough to have surgery, also found that I have dry eyes that cause me to be in pain. Haven’t had pain since diagnosis from new doctor, and prescribed the right medication!!

Dr. Chu was very thorough when examining my eyes for glaucoma. And he was patient when I ask questions and took the time to answer my questions. I would ecommend to anyone for a glaucoma screening or other necessary procedures he performs.

Dr. Chu is a great doc. I appreciate his level of knowledge about my eye issues. He is always kind and respectful, sensitive, and always willing to answer questions. I have no problems with him at all. I do have concerns about whatever kinds of changes the CEI management is up do. The place has a completely different feel about it. Very frustrating for patients.

Dr. Chu is both a caring physician and someone with a high level of knowledge in his specialty area of glaucoma. For several years, I have seen him for office visits, and also for surgery to manage ocular hypertension and developing glaucoma in one eye. He responds directly to questions, and explains things well. He also noticed a small bump on one eyelid that turned out to be a basal cell skin cancer, for which I saw another specialist. It would have escaped my attention, but instead was caught early on. He also personally called me to respond to a letter I wrote with some concerns. He has gone the extra mile in some small ways. I feel in trustworthy hands with his ongoing office care and with surgical needs.

Dr. Chu is very professional and well versed in treating glaucoma. My recent lasert procedure went very smoothly.
