Great Dermatologist
My husband had seen 3 other doctors about his problem scalp with no solution. Dr Speck knew right away what the problem was and we couldn't be happier. We both see him on a regular basis now. Would recommend.

Great Dermotologist
I always felt like dermatologists would cut you up and it was a win-win situation. Dr. Speck doesn’t cut you up and take biopsies for no reason. I think he is a great doctor. I am surprised by a few of the bad reviews.

Very direct and knowledgeable
I was very appreciative of his advice and concerns. I liked his direct approach. He was also very easy to converse with. I felt like I had known him a long time on the very first visit. The procedure I had done was a great success.

RUDE
Disrespectful individual. Rude … insulting. Still needing treatment went to another local dermatologist in the area and somehow starting a conversation with a patient sitting in waiting room that had a awful experience too with this doctor! Well 3 others sitting in waiting room also chimed in had awful experiences with him too . Odd we were all survivors of awful treatment by Dr Speck! So think about what happen when I changed doctors and got results and treated with respect and dignity.

Dr Speck missed my father's basil cell cancer for many visits. My father would continue to try and tell him something was so wrong. Dr Speck would freeze the spot on his face and send him home again. I insisted he go to San Antonio for a second opinion. He was sent to a fabulous Moe Dr that barely saved his eye. Speck is incompetent. Many good Doctors available drive the extra mile for quality care.

Anybody who remembers how medicine was practiced before the intrusion of 3rd party payers, government "mandates" and paramedical personnel running the show will truly appreciate Dr. Speck. He LOOKS at his patients instead of a computer screen. He LISTENS instead of spouting canned speeches of the pharmaceutical reps. He is a diagnostician of the old school and has more intellectual curiosity than 90% of physicians now practicing.
