I first saw Dr Brown in 2001. He looked at my MR images and he walked into the examination room. The first words he said to me were, ''You need a spinal cord stimulator, it's the end of the road for you.'' So, Dr. Brown obviously saw Arachnoiditis on my images, but he didn't call it that. He would only call it ''Failed back sugery.'' Well, after several years, I finally got a diagnosis of Arachnoiditis. I still have my stimulator, after having it 18 years. Dr. Brown was a very good surgeon.

Dr Brown operated on my lower back 9 years ago. At that time my pain level was so high I was taking an assortment of painkillers to be able to work. He and his expert team were careful to explain pros and cons. The surgery was successful, my pain level plummeted, and to this day, at nearly 72, I retain better flexibility and lower pain.

I been through 7 back surgeries and it difficult to find a surgeon who understands what it takes to tackle complex surgeries. My last surgery my left leg was experiencing paralysis and many other problems. Dr Brown explained that it was not going to be easy but he could help me regain use of my leg and help relieve some of my pain. After surgery everything he said he could do he did and then some. He is an excellent at complex surgery which makes him a unique surgeon who I trust and believe in.
