Dr. Gargi Upadhyaya, MD

I have never been to any medical office,that’s even half as bad or unprofessional as this one.The doctors and there nurses are very rude,mean,and incompetent,especially Brenda,the medical assistant.They don’t return calls.You can’t even get a refill on your regular medication.The doctor is always in a bad mood,like she hates her job.If you try to ask her a question,she is rude and talks over you.If you try to explain to her that your feeling weak,and have bad sign effects from any treatment.She cuts you off,and won’t listen,and she ignores any concerns or complaints you have.When I was in the back room receiving treatment.I can’t believe the way the doctor and nurses were publicly speaking badly about the patients there.They don’t keep your medical condition,or patients personal problems private at all.I have never been to any medical clinic where the employees sit around and gossip,and bad mouth patients.No wonder everything is unorganized,unprofessional,there incompetent.Run far away

Dr. Upadhyaya and her nurse just leave the office without notice a lot and with no one to answer on their behalf. She is also dishonest - she told my mom one of the more local hospitals would not take her insurance and would not be able to do infusions. After talking to another oncologist, we found out that was a lie. She told my mom we had to go all the way to West Covina just to get her port installed. She also suggested my mom go to her friend's infusion clinic in North Hollywood while she was getting hers built up. In a big city like LA, she was making it out to seem like resources were sparse. She is dishonest, greedy, and I just don't think her heart is in it. Your life or the life of your loved one is just pure business to her. This doctor needs to be reported and I hope they close down her infusion clinic. If it's possible, please go with another doctor - we went with Dr. Weber Chen.

Horrible experience, No communication, staff never returns calls. I’ve had to go to the office to ask Dr and Staff questions. Delayed Chemotherapy infusions because lack of care.
