This place has gone way down hill. Post op, called 5 times and finally spoke to nurse who yelled at me. Ended up in the ER with no help from them. Find somewhere else to go

I could not have been happier with my experience with Dr. Richmond. Dr. Richmond was my OB/Gyn for the delivery of my first child, and she made me feel extremely safe and cared for during the whole pregnancy and delivery. She went out of her way to make sure that all my concerns were taken care of and that all my questions were answered. She was always available for me and answered me quickly. She took the time after each appointment to make sure that I felt good about everything, to talk with me about any concerns I had, and to discuss the next steps. She is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell that she is very passionate about what she does. She cares deeply for her patients, and it shows! During the delivery itself she was very focused, in her element, and was such a calming presence. When I think of someone who is truly living out her calling, I think of Dr. Richmond. I could not have had a better experience with her and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an OB/Gyn.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Gayle Richmond. I seldom book an appointment with a doctor based on their website, but these are extraordinary times. The website was informative and Dr. Richmond's credentials-and those of the en tire practice-were impressive. The experience exceeded my expectations. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, their office was extremely clean and made me feel safe. Dr. Richmond was a great listener and what I feel to be a very competent doctor. I have suffered from heavy and painful periods for years but now feel hope is in sight.

This week marked our second pregnancy appointment and there is no doubt we have chosen the right doctor and the right practice. I love Carolina OB/GYN's Centering program. It is really helping me understand motherhood and the changes my body, not to mention my emotional state, are undergoing. Meeting other women who are going through pregnancy at the same time is powerful! Dr. Richmond is kind and understanding and the midwives at Carolina OB/GYN are the best. Excellent! Dr. Richmond takes a great deal of time to answer any questions and and explain changes to my health. The front office and nursing staffs are unfailingly courteous and efficient. Callbacks about insurance are handled rapidly.

I recently had a baby and was seen by Dr Richmond throughout my entire pregnancy! She took her time to answer all my questions/concerns and made sure that I felt comfortable. It’s very apparent that Dr Richmond followed her passion in this field of medicine and genuinely cares for her patients and their wellbeing! Not to mention she is extremely knowledgeable!!
