If you have any orthopedic issues, definitely see Dr. George Balis. The doctor knows his skill very well and is very quick to order the necessary diagnostics in order to determine the issues. He asks the right questions and makes sure that all of your concerns are addressed before you step out of his office. He has a smile on his face from the time he walks in to the time he walks out. He makes the proper recommendations to move forward and follows up to see if you need additional care. He really did take care of my issue. What a great doctor and I hope he continues to practice medicine for many years to come. A true expert in his field.

Uncaring and incredibly rude
It took a month and a half to get in for an appointment with Dr Balis, and when I did get there he made incorrect assumptions about prior injuries and rude comments regarding necessary medication I was on (prescribed by my primary care physician). I have a serious problem and I was not made to feel comfortable that he was the right person to fix it.

I went to Dr. Balis for a shoulder injury and he was so wonderful! I had seen another doctor prior and that visit was horrible. I waited two hours after my appointment time to be seen and was dismissed as soon as I saw the doctor. It was nice to then go to a doctor who was very helpful and seemed interested in finding out what was going on with the injury. Dr. Balis really cared and set up the proper treatment for recovery.
