Dr. George Kaftan Jr, DO

Consistently blew off symptoms I had for over a decade as anxiety. Crowley dental found a broken file lodged Into my gum from a root canal some 18 years prior. Sure he's not a dentist, but I insisted I had left side head pain which he began to medicate to mask the pain. At one point he told me not to take antibiotics. When the tooth was finally discovered, it had been chronically abscessed for years. It was diagnosed as ear or sinus infections for years which granted it ended up as after months of non treatment. Took me a year to adjust away from the many prescribed meds he prescribed me. My new Dr. with one visit found a neck vertebra out of place and adjusted that. Dr. K blew that off as well as anxiety. If you have a problem, he will silence up and roll out any med he can to shut your mouth.

He has been my family physician for a while and I trust him. He talks with me about my concerns and is extremely helpful.

Dr. K is the most kind and thoughtful doctor I have ever had. He takes care of me, he took care of my parents when they lived here. Now he has my in-laws. He's always been my kids' doctor. They're getting older and all their friends have to find new docs because they aren't pediatrics anymore. My kids can still see Dr. K. My kids want him to take care of their kids when they have them, too. He's the best.

He's been my doctor for years. I recommend him to everyone. Now most of the people on my block go to see him, a lot of people from church, and my whole family. He is very nice and easy to talk to. He is into details and knows a lot. He explains everything to me until he knows I get it. He works with me and my insurance so I can take medicines that don't cost too much. And he can sets me up with other doctors, like a specialty, if I have a bigger problem.

We had been patients for many years. It appears the office and staff are too busy to thoroughly examine patients any more. After being ignored for my hand numbness and told flat out I did not have carpal tunnel, the EMG results showed severe carpal tunnel. The final straw was seeing the Doc on Wednesday for chest congestion, blown off, and ending up in the ER on Friday with pneumonia which took 2 rounds of antibiotics to cure.

Great with my kids (very very patient) Always takes his time with us, doesn't not leave any questions unanswered and always gives great advice. My kids always hated going to the doctor but since we started with him they don't mind it at all, he's very soft spoken and calm. We adore his nurse Megan too!
