Dr. Gigi Girard, MD

I started seeing Dr. Girard 2018 when I went on my mothers insurance since I am disabled. My mother saw her first and told me what a great doctor she was. I went and saw her and at my first visit she talked down to me. I put this aside and decided that maybe she was just having a bad day. I continued to see her in 2019 & 2020. In 2020 as the mask mandate was still in place when my appointment came she accused me of breathing heavy and again starting treating me differently. I let this pass as well. 2021 was the final straw for this doctor. I had just gotten out of the hospital for something else before my visit. I went in for my appointment and during the exam I started hyperventilating and almost passed out. During this time all the doctor could do was say 'remember keep breathing,' smile and let out a little giggle. Needless to say I was now speechless.

She is not working on our best interest. It feels like she hates her job and she is just there to get her doctor salary. She was very insistent I had a c-section. I really don't know why besides it just being easy for her.

Posting for my daughter who saw this doctor while her doctor was out. This doctor came in, obviously having not read her chart to see that her bloodwork showed she didn’t need a 3 hour glucose, but proceeded to berate my daughter and scold her for not having it done and placed notes in her chart about my daughter neglecting her baby. After yelling at my daughter and refusing to let her speak, she exited the room without even checking the baby’s heartbeat. She didn’t check for the baby at all. This is a terrible doctor. Whatever was going on before she came into the room with my daughter, she took it out on my daughter and it wasn’t right. How dare she accuse my daughter of neglecting her unborn baby while not even checking for a heartbeat! My daughter was there because she was having pain and was concerned. She did nothing to ease her concerns and made it worse. Horrible human. We are filing a complaint with the medical board.

Been seeing Dr. Girard for the last 8 years and she is a gem! Makes me feel comfortable and takes the time to answer all questions!!

Dr. Girard goes above and beyond for her patients care. She takes the time to listen and answer all the questions I have on every visit. I never have to wait long and the staff is friendly and courteous. I've had such a good experience with her I've recommended her to my friends and family.

Dr. Girard is a excellent physician. She is very caring and compassionate when she treats you. She takes her time seeing you and addresses all concerns. She is always on time for seeing her patients. I have been a patient of hers for the past 8 years and have received excellent care. Her staff is wonderful. Super nice and very efficient. I would highly recommend her as a physician.

Dr Girard took excellent care of me during my entire pregnancy and delivery. She was always very attentive with a highly personalized delivery of care. She was very thorough and knowledgeable and was the best health care provider I have had.

If you're looking for a caring and honest OBGYN, then Dr. Girard is the one for you. She truly cares for the well-being of her patients. She cared for me through a very difficult pregnancy and I can honestly say, I wouldn't have gotten through it, if it hadn't been for her. She put my mind at ease on numerous occasions with her solid judgement and "can do" attitude. Dr. Girard goes above and beyond to make sure you are getting the care that you need!

If you want a doctor that believes that a patient should be an active participant in thier healthcare then this is not the doctor for you. She does NOT want your input. She also does not like you seeing any other providers. She acts like she is looking out for your best interest but she really is looking out for the bottom line. She wants to be the BO$$. Both her medical assistant Dee and the nurse are incredibly rude. They both act like they hate thier jobs.

I've been with her since my Dr. retired in 2006. If you are peri-menopausal and having problems, she isn't for you. Nurse never returned calls and Dr. Girard was unwilling to test my hormones(she said, "You'd be in normal range if I did!"). Shrugged off my physical issues and prescribed me an anti-depressant for moods. Went to another Dr who was willing to test my hormones. I AM BELOW "normal range" for progesterone! Now I'm getting the imbalance addressed and starting to get some relief.

Very nice. Overly cautious, to the point of unnecessarily delivering a baby early.

Dr. Girard is nice and seems knowledgeable but the office and nursing staff are awful. They are disrespectful and rude.

I adore Dr. Girard! She delivered my first child and was so pleasant and wonderful my entire pregnancy. A few years later, with my second child, I chose to see her again and she's just as wonderful as before! She is very patient, answers all my questions, and truly puts me at ease!
