Dr Gina is very kind, caring and professional. Does what she can to make you comfortable. She never rushes the appointment, explains things well, all the nurses who work with her in office are also professional and compassionate. Her nurse who works remotely, Janet S. is horrible, can't depend on her.

2022 - I have been a patient of Dr. Smaldone's for about 10 years. She is thoughtful, she listens and she is honest. She is also an amazingly brilliant diagnostician. She has been wonderful to me and I am grateful for her.

Initially, I really liked Dr. Mantia-Smaldone. The last visit I had with her was not pleasant. I felt tension from her. She was telling me something disturbing about my ovaries. I had a serious look on my face. She accused me of looking at her in a certain way. Did she want me to smile at her while she was talking to me about a serious issue? I felt her feeling hostility towards me. If anyone should be feeling hostile- it's me. It would be interesting to see her walk in my shoes and go through what I've been through for the last 10 years.

Dr. Mantia-Smaldone was extremely accommodating, she worked to make my somewhat unpleasant experience less nerve-racking. She is very competent and caring, took the time to explain test results and answer all of my questions- I never felt rushed! Even her nurse Susan, was exceptional and helped to calm my nerves. I would highly recommend Dr. Smaldone and her staff to anyone needing gyn care. Thank you again Dr. Smaldone. - Kim L.
