Dr. Glenn Sandler, MD

Note: Dr. Glenn Sandler is the son of my wife's and mother-in law's former doctor. Situation: I was not able to have a hernia re-done from the year 1949 because of other medical problems that people in their middle 70's often have. My wife found Dr. Glenn Sandler. I very much believe it was an act of God. This man clearly knows "hernias" and his team is equally amazing. During my 52 years as a professor/teacher/counselor, I taught hundreds of students who became part of the medical profession. Every single member of the Sandler team was a role model for his/her position. Dr. Sandler is a role model medical school teacher for hernias and also a role model for medical team leadership. I could write a book on what this man did to make a complex situation work, but please, just accept my word on this one.

I’ve had two hernia procedures performed by Dr. Sandler and both went as flawlessly as I could have ever hoped for! Both my Primary Care Doctor and my Cardiologist gave Dr. Sandler enthusiastic recommendations and I was not disappointed at all.

Dr. Sandler was referred to me regarding a possible gall bladder issue. I had tests done and it was determined that the gall bladder was not a problem. He saw a hernia that was detected in the test and studied it to determine it had a piece of bowel inserted into the hernia and required hernia repair and removal of the bowel. Dr. Sandler was very thorough and informative. He was very kind and professional and I would gladly recommend him to anyone needing this kind of surgical procedure.

Dr Sandler is a highly qualified surgeon. He is a caring, compassionate doctor who has time to answer all your questions. If, I ever need surgery again, or if family member or friend does, Dr Sandler is the surgeon I will call. EXCELLENT surgeon and an EXCELLENT office staff.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this physician and his staff. Dr. Sandler is very kind and caring. I was at this office this morning ( and I'm always early) he took me before my actual time! His staff is absolutely amazing, from the first initial phone call to make an appointment, checking in and checkout. They are kind, efficient and friendly. I highly recommend is medical office.

This in no way is directed at the doctor. He was highly recommended and his patients can speak to his credentials. The experience with the staff was beyond annoying and in my 65 yrs. for the first time I HAD to ask for my insurance and license back and walked out of the appointment. I was a couple minutes late and everyone walking in for the next 45 minutes were called ahead of me. I have health issues and met my deductible last January. I, in all my life do no recall an office managed as such.

What a great surgical experience - if there is such a thing. Appointments start on time (or early!), the Surgical Center of Rockville staff and facility was outstanding, and Dr Sandler himself was wonderful. I know I'll need future surgeries, and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Thanks to all of the nurses and other staff for their outstanding care. And thank you, Dr Sandler, for your terrific work.

I would highly recommend Dr. Sandler and his staff. My primary care physician referred me to him since I needed to have my gallbladder removed. During the initial consultation, I was impressed with his bedside manner. He took the time to answer all of my questions and explain exactly what to expect from the surgery as well as the potential risks and side effects. I elected to have the procedure at the Rockville Surgery Center and was glad I did. The procedure went great!

Dr. Sandler performed laparoscopic surgery to correct an abdominal hernia. Dr Sandler followed up post op repeatedly and genuinely seemed to care for my well being. I highly recommend Dr. Sandler and would use him again if I have the need. Genuine, caring and professional.
