Dr. Gopika Gangupantula, MD

I have been a patient for a year and never had a diabetes doctor explain things so well, give such amazing patient explanations or advocate as hard when advocacy becomes necessary. Her entire staff is exemplary. My only complaint is the occasional long past appointment times waiting.

Dr G is very nice and somewhat attentive when you actually get to see her. However I will be changing doctors as everything else about this office is terrible.You wait forever to be seen in office (1 hrs plus past appt just to be seen)If you do a phone appointment it’s like minimum of 2 hours after your appt time that she calls.The front office staff are unprofessional and I never seem to talk to the same person twice.They never answer their phone and it’s very rare if ever that you get a call back when leaving a voicemail. Some of the time the phone tree doesn’t even work.Do not have her as your primary care as you will not be seen for a physical or get shots (other than b12 which is highly pushed and out of pocket) Do not expect to be seen at short notice. She is my primary care and I got injured. They could not get me in for 2 months and suggested to just go to the ER. That’s not the point of ER. A waste of resources.The medical assistants are mostly students

You are truly remarkable and professional doctor that we respect and trust.

A very friendly and pleasant, approachable and kind consultant. The compassion with which you treat the patient is more effective than any medicine.

the only negative is the wait past appointment time. Dr "G" spends necessary time with each patient that may sometime affect the next patients appointment.
