Great doctor
Dr. Shin takes the time to explain everything clearly. The practice is busy, but she never rushes anything. And her staff is equally efficient and friendly. I went to two different large practices here in Las Vegas before switching, and both were run like assembly lines, all very impersonal and chilly.

Excellent doctor and staff
Examinations here are the most thorough you could hope for, and the staff is efficient, thoughtful, and helpful. I switched to Dr. Chin from a large practice that was not well-run, with long waiting times between each part of a standard exam. The waiting time for the initial exam can be a bit long, but the care is so meticulous and professional, it's well worth it. Highly recommended,

I am very grateful to Dr. Shin for the care are received from her, for follow-up care after I had an operation for an eye melanoma. The melanoma operation (performed at UCLA) required a radioactive "plaque" inserted for a week. The standard aftereffect is that my muscles were stretched, causing strabismus, crossed eyes, requiring realignment. This operation she performed flawlessly. After that, the next job was to correct my eyes for cataracts, for which she and her assistant prepared meticulously. I was required to come in several times for vision acuity measurements. This was done to make sure the prescriptions for the implant lenses were dead on accurate. Thanks to her uncompromising meticulous approach, I've one eye that is 20-20 without glasses, and both eyes that point In the same direction. I see, however, some patients are frustrated with long wait times. That's caused, in part, because pre-school and school children in for strabismus are often ornery and time-consuming.

I have never encounter with rude receptionist and incompetent staff when it come to doctor visit. The staff (receptionist ) intentionally neglect to schedule my son appointment because at the time when I was there in front of her , she literally told me I should call instead of scheduling with her while she was doing nothing and with no patient .when I said why cant you help me scheduling since im infront of you , she got mad and throwing attitude at me for asking her to do something that take 30 seconds .after we schedule for 8/19/20 at 2pm, my husband showed up with my 5yo son and they said there was no appointment schedule so when I personally call them and ask what happened , they made excuses and stated the person didn't schedule it right and not intentionally doing it out of spiteful . I asked for manager or person in charge and she refused to give me name so I can deal with management directly . She was rude and cutting me off . Rude staff, inconsiderate And arrogant .

If you plan to visit this office think twice. Receptionists are mean not helpful at all. We were the first one on schedule around 8 am. My daughter was not seen until 9am and been waiting more than an hour after her eyes were dilated. According to the lady infront they need to wait for vacant room. Noted they only have 3 rooms. In short plan to stay at their office atleast half a day if your lucky. I don’t recommend them at all. After long wait doctor will talk to you less 15 minutes.

I had eye surgery on both eyes and the results are not spectacular, but satisfactory. The problem is that for every single one of my appointments, seven in all now, I have had to wait forever. One time it was only 45 minutes. But two hours is typical. The staff is very unconcerned about how this effects the patients life and obviously neither does Dr Shin
