This was my first visit and I was not aware of the size of the clinic. It was easy to find the check in area. The clerks were very friendly and knowledgeable and provided great and efficient customer service. All the ancillary staff were friendly and greeted with a smile. But, the wait time was too long (2.5 hrs) In the end, seeing Dr. Calvert was worth the wait. He has a pleasant bedside manner. He is knowledgeable and explained my x-ray results in terms I could understand. He solicited my input when deciding on the treatment plan and follow-up. Overall I had a good experience.

After using several other surgeons for my chronic spine be issues, I have been a patient of Dr. Calvert for many years. He all but totally resolved my lumbar spine pain that I had for 35 years. Now he is treating me for arthritis in my cervical spine. He is the greatest!

I had a diagnosis of both severe spinal stenosis and neuropathy. My ability to walk became extremely compromised and this affected every aspect of my life. My surgery goal was to prevent further deterioration with hopefully a little improvement. Dr. Calvert reviewed my scans, explained to me, in detail, what was happening and how it could be corrected. I was hopeful. The morning of surgery he prayed with us. Immediately after my surgery I noticed the neuropathy was gone and a few days later I was walking without pain. I am now walking miles when before I could not even dream of doing so! I believe God gave him the skill and compassion to be one of the greatest surgeons in Mississippi.
