Dr Fox is great. He is not going to baby you, if you want that see your mom. Dr Fox is confident and steady which I like and he doesn't listen to my whining which I need. He just does the job painlessly and quick. Again if some one is going to poke a needle in my eye they have to be quick and steady. I thought a shot in the eye would be impossible and his methods and skill made it relatively easy. I wouldn't wish a condition requiring shots in the eye on anyone, but if they have to have it, this is the guy to do it. He may seem gruff to some but he is just what a old grouch like me needed. Besides I like him and the assistants receptionist and financial lady are wonderful.

Staff nice, Fox is not. Rushes. Hurries. Impatient. I thought the other patients in the waiting room were exaggerxating; they were not. Doesn’t listen to critical information; doesn’t seem to care if he harms or hurts. After 1 appointment got up and never went back. Refuted charges.

In disagreement with negative reviews.
Dr Fox is a skilled professional in his trade. He confirmed, as a second opinion, a genetic eye condition I have that if left untreated was leading me to blindness, limiting my ability to drive, read a computer or cell phone. He took immediate action with steroid injections. The success of the treatment is not immediate, which he explained, and after 4 years under his care my deteriorating vision has been stabilized and improved by his guidance and expertise. I was in need of a highly skilled Retina Specialist he has fulfilled that task. If I had wanted "Hand Holding" I would have seen a Therapist.

Dr. Fox has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have come into contact with. Although a prestigious and able specialist, he often refuses to explain or answer questions without repeated reminders. He leaves immediately after injections and during lasers, he doesn't monitor my pain. I would not recommend him unless you have a condition that absolutely cannot be treated elsewhere.

Dr. Fox's steroid injections in my eye caused optical nerve damage, glaucoma and lost vision. This has been confirmed by prestigious local doctors. He discovered it then hurried me out of his office and referred me to another doctor to get rid of me. He wouldn't take responsibility for it.

Very efficient and effective. Studied at Bascomb Palmer, Miami, FL, best for eyes in the I.S. He did a great job on my surgery. Wonderful, thoughtful, smart staff.

Dr. Fox is arrogant. He does seem competent but he does not voluntarily explain anything and questions are typically given but either impatiently or even angrily. Very poor bedside manner. While the staff at Retina Associates are very friendly and personable, he is not. If referred to this clinic, ask for a different doctor.

During my initial appointment with Dr. Fox, he told me he was going to find me another doctor. I guess he was upset that I left Dr. Blake Cooper. Nevertheless, I had three appointments with Dr. Fox where I received Eylea injections in both eyes. I stopped going to Dr. Fox because after my last injections both of my eyes turned blood red. It took two weeks for them to return to somewhat normal. I did not contact Dr. Fox about the problem because I believe he intentionally tried to harm my eyes.

Very professional staff and I feel they are knowledgeable. Bring a book, after the eye tests you will always have at least an hour, never have I had less, last visit was 1 hour 20 minutes after the test were performed before I seen doctor. Once when I seen a backup doc, it was over 3 hours. That is just how it is, but I come prepared.
