Dr Martens has always taken the time to speak with me regarding my condition and provides insight to other things that may help me to control symptoms . Definitely recommend him.

Terrible experience, read the other 1 star reviews they have a similar experience, he came in saying I don’t have rheumatoid arthritis or psoriatic arthritis even though I’ve been tested and diagnosed by multiple drs , he then said “Not everyone with psoriasis has psoriatic arthritis “ “Not everyone in pain has arthritis “He Talked over me the entire time Then he said he saw I tried a med ,I said I tried a couple and they helped only a little then he said “If those medications didn’t work you don’t have arthritis “He also asked what I’m on disability for? Mansplaining and talking to me like I’m dumb Asking why I moved to Florida and why I left etc Asking why I’m here if I don’t like it Mentioned how bad my psoriasis is when it’s actually pretty clear and not nearly as bad as usual . Just overall a bad doctor that basically accuses you of lying about your diagnoses , definitely recommend looking for a good doctor that will listen and not talk over you when you try to explain .

Dr Martens explained everything very clearly and took time to review my extensive medical history. Further Lab work will confirm a good diagnosis. I have been misdiagnosed 3 times previously. I felt very comfortable with his bedside manner and knowledge of my issues.

I am from Pensacola and was not getting seen in a timely manner with the Dr's here being scheduled out 3-8 months even with my file marked urgent from the hematologist. I decided to look outside my area and found Dr. Martens almost 2 hours away. I am so glad I decided to make the drive. I got my referral sent to his office and within an hour or 2 of them getting it they were calling to get me scheduled. Once my apt came he was very friendly and answered all my questions and I did not feel rushed. He sat with me and just gave me the warm grandpa feeling. First impressions are everything for me and he exceeded those. He said he would call me with test results so I didn't have to drive back over but, honestly, wouldn't care if I had to. It is well worth it to get amazing care for something so worrisome. I have been recommending him to everyone I know across the panhandle.
